UK/Ireland tour - cancelled or postponed? - Page 6

I got a letter yesterday from The Lowry apologising for the cancellation and saying they would refund the ticket price back to my credit card. Hopefully I'll get my car parking back too.

Maybe it's just as well that I was away from The Ledge during all this - I was so angry and upset and devastated that I probably would have earned myself a suspension or ban from here!

I am just about thawing out now - but I am definitely in the camp that thinks the shows should have gone on!

After nearly 30 years of longing to meet Linds, I came within days of my dream only to have it suddenly snatched away - I have now lost all hope and I don't ever expect it to happen now.

Nuff said, just wanted to have my say after a frustrating week.

I can't believe his website still shows the tour as being postponed. It's such a shoddy thing to not update people on the situation.

I emailed the server (Ground ctrl, or whatever it is) about this and I got a very snotty reply back from them. Don't think they (at least) care either way, really. I wonder if Lindsey has any input at all on his website. I doubt it.

Another shoddy thing - because I couldn't obviously get any merch from the shows, I ordered some things from his site last week.

The money was taken from my account almost immediately but my "order status" just keeps showing that it's in process every time I check.

Anyone else had any probs ordering from his site?

It's just not good enough! I am surprised at Lindsey - he is a perfectionist and likes things just right, why doesn't he kick them into touch?

my understanding of the grnd-ctl service is that they design the site but then it is up to the owner to do the plug-in of data, etc.

i often fantz, USER is Lindsey.

I can't really see Lindsey sat there with his specs on, squinting at the TV screen and wrinkling his nose, trying to figure out what Copy and Paste means
