... The canned in vocals and instruments ...
Is the consensus really that they are using prerecorded samples? There are three backing vocalists in this band. When I saw them in Boston, I did not hear any vocals that those three guys couldn't have been providing, live.

As for the instruments, there are two extra guitarists. When Lindsey is not playing, but we hear a guitar, why are we all leaping to the conclusion that it's a piped in sample? Couldn't it just as well be Neale or Brett playing what we're hearing?

I'm not being naive here, just preferring to give them the benefit of the doubt until I see real evidence.

Haha wow! Thank you!! I don't think anyone has the video or records the band intros and if I can't find it that would be really upsetting for me because it was such a nice moment

I met her before the show and she signed my record. I told her Im excited to be at the show in front row and she said she'd wave to me and during band intros she finally saw me and waved at me! I really really hope there's video of it.
Mind if I ask what the secret is to meeting Christine? How'd that come about? Going to the Mount Pleasant show tonight so just curious. That'd be a dream for sure. But I'm just hoping the thunderstorms predicted to start at 9 tonight stay far away! So I think I'll be happy just for that. But sooo sweet that she waved to you! I had an experience like that meeting a non musical hero of mine and she waved during her speech. I was over the moon and still get all bubbly remembering it. Haha.

Well i'm not sure if there's a secret but I'll tell you how I did it! My good friend follows Christine's makeup artist on instagram, and she posted an Instagram story of the view from her hotel room. Living in Toronto all my life, I immediately recognized a strange dome like building and knew that the hotel right behind it as a 5 star hotel and knew that there weren't any I could've mistaken it for next door. So I figured it was a nice day and I got there at about 3, saw 2 black suburbans pull up and basically knew that was for them. And at about 4:30 ish she came out! She came over to the few of us waiting and I ended up directly in front of her and all I could think to say was "i'm coming to the show tonight in front row im so excited" and she said "oh I'll wave at you!" (And that she did!). Lindsey came out a few minutes after Chris but didn't come over to us and sign anything. I love her as much as I love stevie. She is my hero in so many ways and meeting her was everything to me. I couldn't be happier. And she's the sweetest person you could imagine.
PS: a friend of mine who knows the crew said that the MI show is running off schedule tonight due to the promoters giving them less than a day to get from Canada to a small town in MI. Some band members are flying in and some crossed the land border and it looked like a bit of a mess so if it's hard to meet them or get their attention I took that they were a tad bit overwhelmed!

The show was phenomenal, the vocals of both Lindsey and Christine were even better than I had expected, however the audience didn't seem very enthusiastic about it all, so many people were sitting down and someone in my row was playing a game on their phone most of the concert.

Thank you! And nope not even a word. The guys around me started talking about how they'd never heard anyone have a negative experience trying to get an autograph from him so they were pretty surprised. I was too. I thought if Chris stopped, he definitely would. Oh well.

He must've had some problems with his hair curlers that day

Ha! He didn't even give us the courtesy of saying "sorry no time". But oh well. I did he see him point to those girls you referred to over and over in the first row too. Christine only waved at me, and a girl who was probably 8 with her dad who brought a sign. Very sweet.

Ahh. That makes sense. I'd imagine given the location of tonight's show (not a ton around there. Casino is on the outskirts of a midsize college town) they'd almost definitely be staying at the casino itself but who knows given the info you just shared! I figured out last minute during a Detroit Mac show where they had stayed due to similar sleuthing but way to late to try to meet them. I am friends with someone in Arizona who is close to a friend of the band and obviously some strong Stevie connections (friend said before Stevie's mom passed they'd see her and sometimes Stevie around town or at the grocery store!). So maybe one day I'll havethings work out. Not for this show. But I'm legitimately thrilled for you! I always love stories of people meeting their heroes that turn out well since everyone always says don't meet your heroes and all.

So by off schedule would you happen to know if that means running late? Its such a hot and humid day here and the MI venue is completely uncovered (no pavilion or anything) and my health isn't that great/ don't tolerate that kind of weather all that well. So I'm already taking my time to get there but I might take a little more time then.

I REALLY hope it doesn't storm tonight. Forecast changed from earlier and is saying 60% chance of thunderstorms at 9, 10, 11. I'd feel so bad for the band and crew if they've had a crazy day and then end up having to reschedule or end early. I don't even know how they do it at their ages. I'm only late 20s and couldn't imagine that kind of life and the energy they manage to bring even if I was in better health! A casual fan friend went with me to a couple of shows on the last two tours (so before and then with Christine, who is looking phenomenal these days!) and during I'm So Afraid where Lindsey was doing his solo and running around the stage and all, my friend was like "He has way more energy than the two of us put together!" Turned that friend into a much bigger fan of the band too. Just doing my part in Mac evangelization! 😉

Thank you so much for that! If truth must be told, I'd heard some questionable things about how nice Christine was as well and i knew I'd be heartbroken if she wasn't kind. I'm so thankful she was. I'm elated that i got to meet her I am so so grateful to meet my hero.
I definitely don't think the show is late!! What I gathered was that it was rushed getting to the venue with the whole border crossing thing but I think that they're all there now as per her makeup artist's Instagram. It was just a tad stressful getting there in a short amount of time (personally I'd always advice having a show in the states the day after Canada, the border especially on a bus can be unpredictable!).
I hope so much you can meet them one day! I hope everyone can it was the most amazing experience.
Have an amazing show tonight I hope it's great and I don't know if you've seen them yet on this tour but if you haven't you're in for something really special. Stevie Nicks present or not, they are two insanely talented people who made amazing music and sound terrific together. I'm excited to hear how your show goes!

Edit: Yes so much to Im So Afraid. It was surreal how much energy that man has.

The new songs were so exciting to hear. Lindsey was super high energy during them and the crowd was singing along to them. I was front front row off to the right directly in front of Neil. They were some young sexy women front row center with fake boobs that Lindsey seemed to be interacting with quite a bit. Not being a hater, but just observing. The show ended and I tried to get Lindsey to sign my vinyl. He looked me in the eyes and walked by, but that's ok. The stage was a ways from the front row with a barrier in the way so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt haha.
You should have wear some fake big bobbs. I think I'm gonna order a pair on eBay just to be safe.
