Also, if these dates are correct, they're releasing St. Louis tracks from a different night than the circulating soundboard bootleg (my copy of the bootleg says it's from November 6th).
The Nov. 5th tracks were used in the Tusk doc video, right?

The tusk documentary should have tracks from both nights, while the circulating soundboard bootleg is from the 6th november.
However Angel from the documentary should be from the 5th November because it's different from the bootleg and also Mike Bise said it.

Any track recorded in May or June of 1980 should be outstanding as they were at their prime, as far as my tastes are concerned. But I am really worried about the Tuscon gig songs because at that point in the tour, the band was exhausted and their performances suffered, IMO. The Hollywood Bowl show bootlegs recorded just a few days later showcased very tired Rhiannon's. And ANY live Rhiannon is always gonna be my most desired track on a record. I was always let down by that pitiful one they put on FM Live back in 1980.

The version of Rhiannon on FM Live is from the Rumours tour if I'm not mistaken. By the time the Tusk tour came around she wasn't even going for the high notes anymore, not even at the latter part of the Rumours tour.

I agree......as much as I love TUSK (it's my all-time favorite album!), I REALLY think it's time for MIRAGE and TANGO to get the remastered treatment! I want "Ricky" on CD!!!!

Wow. Amazing how tastes can differ. IMO, that Rhiannon on the Live album is by far one of the best versions. I highly disagree that one could call it "pitiful", with all due respect

Fleetwood Mac Reveal Full Details of Expanded ‘Tusk’ Reissue

By Jeff GilesOctober 30, 2015 10:22 AM

Fleetwood Mac fans planning on shelling out for the remastered and expanded edition of Tusk can now take a look at exactly what they’ll be getting.

The band has revealed the complete track listing for the upcoming reissue, which — as previously reported — gives the original LP a fresh audio scrub while bundling in single edits, outtakes, live performances from the Tusk tour and a complete alternate version of the album.

Due Dec. 4, the expanded Tusk — available for pre-order now — will be available in a variety of configurations, starting with a five-CD deluxe edition that packs in a two-LP vinyl remaster as well as a DVD featuring a 5.1 surround mix. More budget-conscious buyers can opt for a three-disc version that leaves out the live recordings, or just remain content with a single-disc remaster of the original LP. The band, meanwhile, remains on the road behind its On With the Show tour. Following that, a new album is possible.

Fleetwood Mac will revisit their 1979 epic Tusk this December with an ultra-deluxe reissue featuring dozens of unreleased alternate takes and live renditions of the album's tracks. In addition to the completely remastered original album and the demo recordings and single remixes that were previously included in the 2004 reissue, the new 5-CD/2-LP/1-DVD edition will also feature an "Alternate Tusk," a disc that reassembles the album's original track listing using different takes of each song.

The reissue also zeroes in on two tracks – "I Know I'm Not Wrong" and "Tusk" – to show how the album developed over the course of two years: In the former case, the song appears six times, first as Lindsey Buckingham's home demo, then its maturation over the course of five recording sessions stretched across a 10-month period. Five attempts at "Tusk" – from demo to the USC Marching Band – are also included. (A seventh version of "I Know I'm Not Wrong" and a sixth take on "Tusk" are similarly featured on the "Alternate Tusk" disc.)

On top of the largely unreleased "Alternate Tusk," the Tusk super deluxe reissue will boast two CDs' worth of unreleased live tracks culled from Fleetwood Mac's yearlong Tusk tour. The deluxe edition also includes a 2-LP of the original album as well as a DVD-audio of Tusk with a 5.1 surround mix. Rhino will release the 5-CD/2-LP/1-DVD edition – as well as a 3-CD reissue (minus the live CDs, vinyl and DVD) and a digital version – on December 4th. Pre-order now at Amazon.

I know a lot of people like it but before that performance was known to us I had been listening to the Live Rhiannon's from Sin City (August 1977) & Albatross, But Not Around My Neck Please (1976) bootlegs and these 2 versions were a billion times better. The live Rhiannon experience is the most important part of the show for me. I wish Stevie would give up the crack head dance in GDW and throw all her energy back into Rhiannon like she did in the old days.
