Not sure if this is REAL NEWS(!) or misinformation but according to this article about the new song, Stevie is "...continuing her 24 Karat Gold tour this year with stops in the UK, Minnesota, Kentucky, and Illinois".

These are the people that fuel my fire. Poor Lindsey and Chris. They will never get a fair shot with these people.

Lovely song.

This isn't upstaging BuckVie, it's a soundtrack.

UK is Hyde Park with Tom Petty, Minnesota State Fair, Bourbon and Beyond Festival in Louisville KY, and Ravina Festival in Chicago. I'm curious though about these festivals. Is she performing her whole set like for the other dates on the 24 Karat Gold Tour or is a shortened set since there are other artists performing?

It seems that during the last night of the second leg she announced that the tour would be extended to include some Australian dates around the end of October.

It doesn't bother me one bit that's she hasn't written this new song.
The song is great, as is the production.

It's just a lovely song by a woman who is almost 70...
She sounds fabulous......and that's it.

Of course not. I don't think Stevie is that diabolical. I love the song. I played it about 8 times last night. Was kinda bummed to learn she didn't write it but oh well. Her vocal is beautiful and the production is nothing short of magical!

So now the same people on the Rumours board are over there saying how much everyone here thinks that Stevie has so upstaged the new BM album and how much better it is than anything on there. I knew I shouldnt have even went to look over there as I had no doubt of how the same people will be stirring the pot as usual. Ban these people....all they are doing is purposely causing rifts between others. Thats it...I am going back into lurk mode.

This new Stevie recording is promising - a wonderful, tender vocal and suitably atmospheric production. There are a couple of wobbly moments but overall, better than I would have expected from Stevie at this stage of her career. This vocal performance serves as a reminder that she could have really contributed to the latest Mac album.
With regard to Stevie potentially touring Australia later this year, I don't want her setting foot in my country. I'd prefer she stay home and retain what's left of her dignity. She's too old and shabby for the stage but potentially well suited to occasional studio work.

Apparently you've gotten lost. The Rumours Forum is that way. Off you go.

Stevie said she wanted two years off of Fleetwood Mac. I don't think it's any more or any less. They have been on and off like this for years. I don't see an issue here. She is doing what she wants to do during her years off. LB and CM wanted to do something. She did not stand in their way. She continues to do her own thing, which is she asked to be able to do. People are reading too much into things.

Once again the same few people are coming on here and acting like children, as they always do. If Stevie's (or any other celebrities) decisions on what to do with her own personal life make you feel insulted, offended, or personally hurt, then you have emotional problems that would be best talked about with a therapist. Maybe then you'll be able to have an adult conversation. Seriously. Stevie didn't want to give Fleetwood Mac a few more years of her life. GET OVER IT. Obviously the rest of Fleetwood Mac did. She also certainly didn't sing a vocal on a song someone else wrote for a film just to upstage Lindsey and Christine. That's conspiracy theory level thinking. Come down to earth please.
