Elmer Gantry & Kirby Gregory Interview (BBC Radio 2) Stretch/Fake F.Mac
Thought this might be of interest to some here.......
Elmer Gantry and Kirby Gregory of Stretch were interviewed on this weeks BBC Radio 2 Sounds of the 70's introduced by Johnnie Walker. There is a 6:52 clip on the website if you don't want to listen to the full 2 hour show. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08lg9mr Elmer Gantry and Kirby Gregory share their 70s memories including forming the 'Fake' Fleetwood Mac and later, Stretch. Best known for their 1975 hit single 'Why Did You Do It?', there was a period when it seemed Stretch were going to give the likes of Bad Company and Rainbow a run for their money. Yet despite their instant chart success the group had disappeared by the end of the decade. |
