I know! I had to freeze the video so many times. Her hair was dark at one point, but not that dark.

I only watched until I was sure it wasn't her, then I closed it.

Same! Chicken Shack ceased to be interesting without her. I mean, they could still play blues and might have even improved as players but Christine was the ejj lol element they needed to distinguish themselves from
100 other similar bands.

I'd rather go blind, than watch Chicken Shack without her.

Makes you wonder what might have become of FM, had she not joined.....

I'm thinking that might have happened. Stevie would still be waiting tables, instead of cleaning plates.

I think the better question what would have happened if Jeremy hadn’t made a solo album?

That album gave the band a frame of reference on functioning without Peter Green. It also served as a bonding experience between Jeremy and Danny and a way to pivot to an even lighter sound than what Danny initially brought into the band. Christine’s solo album was also lighter which I think made her coming in work a lot better.

That said, if they hadn’t brought in Christine, Duster Bennett was someone they knew who was close to Peter and was probably feeling their pain over what happened to him. Also, his voice could easily be mistaken for Peter’s. After that, maybe Gary Moore to replace Jeremy and Mick Taylor to replace Danny. It would have been fairly simple to continue in similar fashion.
