Default Jeremy Spencer on the radio

Hi!

Part of Jeremy's performance at Notodden Blues Festival this year has just been broadcast on Norwegian radio today!!

The songs were:
1. Madsion Blues
2. ...uh, can't remember the title of this one.. but it goes like this "It was early one mornin', I was on my way to school..."
3. It Hurts Me Too
4. Crossroad (The Robert Johnson/Elmore James song, done with an arrangement similar to Muddy Waters' "Rollin' And Tumblin'".)

The performance was excellent and it was great fun to hear!!

Daniel

The forgotten title is Wee Baby Blues, lyrics as follows (by Pete Johnson/Big Joe Turner:
It was early one mornin', I was on my way to school
It was early one mornin', I was on my way to school
That was the Monday mornin' I broke my mama's (teacher's) rule

Ooo-wee-wee baby, you sure look good to me
Ooo-wee-wee baby, you sure look good to me
Sometimes I wonder who can your lover be?

In love with ya baby, before I learned to call your name
(Been) In love with ya baby, before I learned to call your name
You in love with someone else, you 'bout to drive me insane

I have an excellent recording of various artists together on this one:
Muddy Waters
Buddy Guy
Howlin Wolf
Willie Dixon
Sonn Boy Williamson
et al.

Did you manage to record the radio broadcast?
Cheers
