Stands on shifting sands, the scales held in her hands
The wind, it just whips her away and fills up her brigantine sails
She'll carry on through it all, she's a waterfall

I'd send you a flower - a Sunflower bright
'Cause you cloud my days messing up my nights
And all the way up to the top of your head
Sun-showered kisses I felt we had

And the world is etched upon your heart
And the world so hard to understand...
...is the world you can't live without
And I knew the silence of the world

Yes it's Steven Tyler. And Young American is my favourite David Bowie album (but I haven't listened to everything by him).

If you haven't already listened to it, I highly recommend Station to Station.

I gave a vinyl of Station to Station to my bestfriend for her graduation. She's a big Bowie fan, I'll ask her to play it on her record player.

Well, I stand up next to a mountain, chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well, I pick up all the pieces and make an island, might even raise just a little sand
'Cause I'm a voodoo child, Lord knows I'm a voodoo child

How many corners do I have to turn?
How many times do I have to learn
All the love I have is in my mind?
Well, I'm a lucky man with fire in my hands

Straddle the line in discord and rhyme
I'm on a hunt down after you
Mouth is alive with juices like wine
And I'm hungry like the wolf

There's the progress we have found a way to talk around the problem
Building towered foresight isn't anything at all
Buy the sky and sell the sky and bleed the sky and tell the sky
Don't fall on me...
