I do stupid things like walk around barefoot in my pajamas in unfamiliar parks while hanging out with the homeless or I wander off in the middle of the night and scare my friends half to death lol. I know I'm not a good drunk, so consciously I'd rather steer clear of alcohol. I know it's odd for somebody as young as me to be aversed to the idea of drinking, but I've always maintained that I was born middled aged. I've always been far older than I am biologically.
It's good that you recognize that you're not a good drunk, and don't partake. Some people just aren't. My cousin(who might as well be my sister...we're that close) was a terrible drunk. She'd fight any man, going at them with fists swinging. Mean, mean, mean, drunk. She'd been mugged drunk, and god only knows how many strange men she screwed while drunk. She's been sober for I think 17 years now. Thank god. Because she would be dead by now, if she hadn't stopped(she knows this, too). Some people just don't make good drunks.

Me though, I'm considering changing my name to Christopher McVie.

Similarly, Georgie McVie. Because I really do like my wine. When I get drunk I start giggling and talking nonsense. Harmless nonsense and I always stop an hour before I'm going to bed because I know if I go home straight to bed, I'll end up being sick.

Winos unite!!!! Pretty much reds only, for me. Hmm, the McVie Wine Club(I wanted to add "tasting", but who are we kidding? lol). Has a nice ring to it!

Although I pretty much like it all. No gin, Southern Comfort, or Yukon Jack, though(only because I was deathly ill on all three, and can't even stand the smell of them now). But wine, beer, whiskey, vodka, rum, whatever, bring it on!

And I'm a happy drunk, also. You almost can't make me mad, if I've got a nice buzz.

I have to say, I am so lucky. SO LUCKY.

You see, last night, Denver and other parts of the front range had storms that dumped two inches of rain and vast quantities of hail - some car tires were buried in 24 inches of hail!Seriously! Some streets had to be plowed because there was so much hail on them.

Hail - and floods from rain!

A lot of folks in the Denver area have smashed gardens. Plants smashed to the ground. Tomato plants that look like they were trampled by a pack of dogs made out of ice and snow.

The funny thing is that this morning, I went outside and looked at my garden, like I always do, and everything looked so nice. Green - bright - vibrant - alive. It wasn't until I got to work and heard the stories about the hail that I realized how lucky I was that the neighborhoodI live in had no hail at all. It's like....my garden was spared.

I am so lucky.

Wow, that hail is unbelievable!!!

Yes, you are very lucky. My tomato plants are all looking very healthy(except for a couple). They're about 18" tall now. Can't wait for the first ripe one!!!

Lol. You'd think so, wouldn't you. What I've hit is an expressly potent blend of pre- grades/gallery show stress/nerves, severe social awkwardness bordering on hermitage and three hours sleep per night at best.

I don't recommend it.

From what I gather from your past posts is that you are working very hard, attending Uni and it will all work out in the long run when you get your degree.

I know it will. But still very stressed and sleep deprived, lol. My tutor caught me at a VERY bad time on Monday as I was working on putting some pieces onto my show wall. She decided to criticise the way I was putting my work together. I swear I nearly threw my hammer at her head. I just tossed it onto the floor and skulked off to the Loos for a stressed cry before resuming what I was doing. I should have done it. I should have brandished my hammer and yelled something epic like "This is for Isengard!!!" lol. Tense Bee does not play well with others, it seems.

I know how you feel. My tutor made me cry three times in one day and still wouldn't leave me alone. I'm so ready to move on now. Bring on September.

JTIS- I see Patti Smith in a few weeks. SO EXCITED.

Did you find any faces in that patch of wall?

On a painted wall I can always find a face hidden
there. They're also in wall paper, marble and even
curtains.
