Default Trouble vs. Go Insane

[Don't be ashamed Elle. You can pick "Trouble" and no one will judge you]

http://www.spokesman.com/blogs/slice...ckingham-hits/

Which song did you like better — “Trouble” or “Go Insane”?

One comment: Great question. 'Trouble' is more Mac'ish in production (harmony swells, delay on the solo, killer chorus). All it's missing is Stevie. 'Go Insane' is actually really similar in structure, but the instrumentation and production is very much of '84, which is somewhat distracting. But that doesn't negate the fact there's a fantastic song under there that could hold up to all kinds of arrangements. Tough call, but I'll go with 'Trouble.'

what is this person listening to? killer chorus in Trouble?? non-dated production? huh?

almost every single version of Go Insane is great. the original one, live guitar acoustic ones, and the live 2009 one.

what is wrong with people??

Yes, that's creepy. Not really into giving people in general, and lovers in particular, parental monikers.

I love both songs but if I had to choose I'd pick Go Insane as my go to song.

Go Insane is probably the better song, but I have to admit I prefer listening to Trouble these days. Its lighter to listen to, Go Insane is so heavy

and yes when he says "daddy" it makes me cringe

I have to admit that I've never been into LB's songs from the early 80s, except for Eyes of the World. So I'd definitely say Go Insane. Loved the live version from The Dance, but I was happy they did the 80s sounding synthesizer version during the SYW tour.
