I don’t know if people are in the denial phase or the bargaining phase.

Stevie fans have NEVER had a grasp on any form of reality. "THEY CAN DO THE SHOW WITH HOLOGRAMS!"

Or the reality phase. The revolving musicians in the band over the decades shows they will stop at nothing finding ways to replace members only to have them sometimes reappear again. Chris is gone and John probably wont do it. It will be some sad mash of Mick, Stevie, Sheryl Crow, and dare I say Lindsey. The band went on without Chris, the soul of the band that was their biggest hit maker, keyboardist, and singer. They went on firing their lead guitarist and vocalist and sometimes producer. Then they stiffed their guitarists who replaced Lindsey when they needed them again. Mick will need one last short cash grab tour. Everyone is replaceable except Mick and Stevie. I am 100% against it. But history tells us what will happen. Stevie and Lindsey will hug on stage again.

The difference today from years past with the revolving door of members is time and age. As the song says, time waits for no one. They don’t have a lot of time left. Lindsey literally almost died a few years ago. They don’t have the ability to wait out Stevie’s current solo dates, develop some type of stupid reconciliation plan, plan a tour, get a new band rehearsed and ready for the stage. I just don’t see it. Maybe a one off but even that takes a backing band that they don’t have anymore.

Stevie seems to be doing fine with her lame setlist solo shows. Lindsey enjoys a moderate amount of success with his own shows and has the creative freedom to go out and do whatever he wants including new songs that he isn’t ever going to have in a reformed Fleetwood Mac. The wild card is mick - he will always need money but will he be able to get Stevie on board with what will be an in depth rebuilding of the band including S & L reconciling and agreeing to work together. Do we really think Lindsey will just go along with whatever Stevie demands related to who is in the backing band etc? Will Stevie really sit through rehearsals where Lindsey dissects every note that is being played and challenges what songs should or shouldn’t go in the set? Can Mick make any of that happen?

I don't disagree with anything you say. Lindsey has always held out an olive branch to Mick and the band. I don't understand it yet he's done it and clearly wants to work with them. Mick once said Lindsey was never coming back. Yet now he says it would be wonderful to work with him again because Mick needs him. Age has been against them for awhile now. It would be a sad incarnation and I dont want it to happen. I am just realistic that Stevie will want to close her career in a fake make up with Lindsey. In 1987 Stevie said she would never forgive Lindsey for breaking the chain. She did. Lindsey left swearing never to come back. He did. Stevie quit Fleetwood Mac over Mick's treatment. Yet she came back. Mick lost Chris, Stevie and Lindsey and still went on. Lindsey is still recording and can still play live and sing. Stevie can still tour. I think Mick can still do it and that's all that counts. Mick can only make money with a Stevie/Lindsey tour.

You have a point, but the discussion is because so far what I've read, there's a mix of posts about the possibility of the band reuniting , and whether we want them to reunite. (concerts, tour).

Coming soon... the thread about the new studio album.

On the Grammys Red Carpet, Mick did make a point of saying Fleetwood Mac has survived from loss in the past. I’m not sure if a Stevie/Lindsey/Mick/John tour would sell more than one with Neil Finn. Plus Stevie staff and associates made Lindsey out to be Ted Nugent so there’s a lot of “hate” for Lindsey among the Stevie fans but I suppose if Stevie did the tour they’d buy the tickets anyway.

But it won’t happen. More stadium shows for Stevie. She can bring Elton out of retirement or open for The Stones.

What a sad ending. Clinging to shreds of a once great band. And for WHAT? To be embarrassed by your awful 80yo vocals? To play with karaoke tracks? To pretend to dance around the stage when you should be in a wheelchair? To stage fake love, for the sake of some idiot fans?

P.A.T.H.F.U.C.K.I.N.G.E.T.I.C.
I'm embarrassed for them. Because it's over, and they can't accept it.

Agree, except that I still can't find the logic of insulting common fans.

TikTok comments sections are FULL of people actively talking about how Lindsey and Stevie are still madly in love and that they need to get back together. Literally, today. In 2023. These people are delusional morons and should be insulted.

And let’s be fair - this isn’t a TikTok thing or a “young people today” thing. Fans for decades have been way too deeply involved emotionally in a relationship that ended 10, 20, 30, 40, and now, nearly 50 years ago. That the band fake played that crap up for years with the inauthentic kissing and hugs is even worse and they deserve even more insults!

Lindsey holding(and kissing) Stevie's hand, WHILE MARRIED WITH THREE CHILDREN, is ridiculous, and I question the sanity of anyone who laps it up.

Sorry if that bugs you. I'm brutally honest.

Don’t Get Angry with Meyyy!

Stevie’s Tour Manager was the No Filter 2021 Tour Manager. You know more than anyone Waddy is friends with Keith. Stevie met Mick at the Ahmet Ertegun tribute and I’d bet Mick knows of Stevie’s draw. If it happens, she’d get no more than an hour to play. Hackney Diamonds Tour with special guest Stevie Nicks.

She’s opened for Aerosmith, Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, and Justin Timberlake (2018 I heart radio festival with FM). Others remaining are Elton, McCartney (as far as I know he doesn’t have opening acts), and The Stones. You know it would be fun watching her work the catwalk down to the b-stage!

I love it when people think they're going to come here and spank my ass over stating my opinion. Especially when I'm within the rules of the board.

Be careful...I might enjoy it(that can be taken a couple different ways, and it's intentional).
