Maui and the Lahaina community have been my home for several decades. This is a devastating moment for Maui, and many are suffering unimaginable loss. Fleetwood's on Front Street has been lost and while we are heartbroken, our main priority is the safety of our dear staff and team members. On behalf of myself and my family, I share my heartfelt thoughts and prayers for the people of Maui. We are committed to supporting the community and those affected by this disaster in the days and months and years to come.

Dennis Dunstan just confirmed that it's gone.

Praying for all my friends on Maui with the devastating fires. My closest friend Mick Fleetwood has lost his iconic and much loved restaurant ”FLEETWOODS” along with his adjoining House of Fleetwoods which was home to his priceless collection of memorabilia .!! Im both devastated and heartbroken.!! I can confirm he is safe !

When I was there in 2020 Mick's vintage car was there in the shop... don't think it was a Model A but something about that old. Was it a green truck or car?? The one he's had forever.

I almost bought one of (Neal Preston's?) signed large photos of Stevie up on her roof with the wind blowing her around....The shop had quite a nice collection of prints and other merch

Terrible news. It seems like the whole world is burning with all the fires and the heat

It is horrific. At least 36 confirmed dead. The worst way to die to be trapped by fire. Property can be rebuilt. The victims cant.

I read people were entering the ocean to avoid the smoke and heat. The Coast Guard was rescuing folks off the coast.

This is so shocking. I was there in 2014. It's obvious that it is completely lost, but I'm surprised the building is still there. I mean, Fleetwood's is next to several houses, which seem to have... disappeared! You can check the picture of 744 Front St. at Google Maps and there are several buildings on that block that does not appear in this pic anymore.

And Mick posted last night in Facebook:

I think Mick’s building is concrete or stone. But Villavic, as you know so many homes are right behind Mick’s place and Front Street. And those are gone. Stray animals running around, those who slept on Front Street or other streets. This is so depressing.

There was something comforting knowing somewhere far far away Mick Fleetwood might be chilling out in his nice restaurant in Maui. That's where Christine first came back onstage.

And now that's gone too...

I think the saddest part(other than the 53 death count, so far) is all the FM memorabilia. Restaurants and their equipment are replaceable. The memorabilia is gone forever.

I really feel for him. He lost a lot in the past 10 months. It breaks my heart.
