I'm not certain $he grasps the concept of there can only be one thing that's best.

I'd like to send her a dictionary. Via Air Mail. WHACK!!!!

She’s had more best friends than I have friends. As obscene as the Christine crap is with her - nothing is more baffling or downright f’n weird as the Prince nonsense. What she made out of their “relationship” after his death is truly beyond me. She is insane.

Of course there's no point in resurrecting Fleetwood Mac for Stevie. She probably makes the same or more money on her solo tours now, and she doesn't have to deal with the band at all for any decisions. And it's her name on the marquee alone. She would have ditched them all in the 80s if the economics were what they are now -- back then, there was more value in selling albums than touring, so she stuck with them for that. Now, there really isn't any point in touring with FM.

I can understand how she feels. But have to say: Fleetwood Mac toured without Christine in in 2003, 2009 and 2013. Stevie and the rest of the band was totally okay with touring without Christine then. They didn’t need to “replace” her. Stevie didn’t say “what’s the point?” then. I saw all three of those tours and they were spectacular. Of course, I was thrilled when Christine announced she was rejoining the band in 2014 and loved seeing her with the “original 5” lineup on the 2014 tour. I can understand Stevie sad about losing her friend. But I’m not buying into this “what’s the point” from Stevie now. I feel like she’s just continuing to be difficult, after many years of being difficult and stubborn about new FM music and about everything that went down with firing Lindsey.

I used to be a big fan of Stevie. Not these days.
Without the eponymous Fleetwood Mac lineup, there’s no reason to continue. Let it end. It’s over.

After all what happened with Lindsey, I can use the same words from those moments about him, now with her:
SN is not Fleetwood Mac.
If Fleetwood wants to continue, he can.

I don't see it happening. If Lindsey is working on a solo album, that will take several years of his time. Mick is working on rebuilding in Hawaii after the fires, I think John is done. I'm just sad it ended the way it did
