FM Reacts to Prince's Death
Mick Fleetwood: Legends live forever. #RIPPrince
Stevie Nicks: My friend is gone...This is what it sounds like, when doves cry. He was my dove...Stevie Nicks Bekka Bramlett: Thank You, Sir. Thank You for Giving us all a little Heaven , here on Earth. GODSPEED & We'll See You in the Light, Baby Dave Mason: In 2004 Traffic was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Bob Seger, ZZ Top, Jackson Browne, George Harrison, The Dells, and Prince. Up into that time I was never a big Prince fan other than the song When Doves Cry. Prince was the first performance that night and I have to say I was absolutely blown away. Sad to hear of his passing so young. Very sad day in the music world. |

A sad day, indeed. Rest in peace, Purple One.

Unreal. We have lost so many in the past few months. Prince was a genius. I love that he and Stevie got to share their talent with each other.

if the official FM youtube channel is really the official FM youtube channel
they've come out of hibernation and started posting Stevie/FM Prince related videos

Unfortunately I'm 99.9% sure the 'official' Fleetwood Mac Youtube channel isn't an offical Fleetwood Mac Youtube channel. Pretty sure its good old welcomechris. Some really good finds on there dude but probably wise to make clear its not an 'offical' channel. cheers

Let's not forget that Christine's favorite song is "Raspberry Beret."
Or that, according to Stevie, around the time of the Mriage tour, Prince played her the instrumental track of what would become "Purple Rain," asked her if she'd write a song for it, and she wasn't feeling it, so he wrote one of his epic masterpieces. |

That was an incredibly misleading title to that video I was expecting some actual description of a fleetwood Mac influence. Maybe an out of left field remark about bob welch being a huge influence on his guitar playing. That was fleetwood mac simply being included in a generic list he rattled off.

He is great. I have no evidence whatsoever that what I said is true. Just made up a random fact along the lines of what I was expecting from the clip.
