Lucky Enough to Meet the Man Himself?

Just wondering who has been lucky enough to meet Lindsey. get a photo with him or maybe something more and what was your story behind it? did you randomly run into him? did you meet him after the show? at the hotel??

I'm hoping to go to America during his tour to see him. I hope I do get to meet him! I want to give him some of my artwork. Would be so incredible if I got to give him work inspired by him *squeel*.

I'm in the UK, which is unfortunate because he doesn't tour here

Same here - originally from UK but now living in Australia, been longing to see him solo for quite some time!

At the back of the venue two hours before showtime.
I was at four concerts, met him three times. Very accessable and friendly man, and so charismatic too.

I've met him twice. But the one time, in Cincinnati October/2006, was the best for me. I have pics and all that, but none of him beside me because I was too overwhelmed to ask. He was extremely friendly, kind, accommodating, and just...adorable. I was so shocked when he just randomly walked out, though we were waiting there. I just never imagined it would happen.

That was an awesome read, thanks for sharing. You got to hear Bwana live and then you got to meet him! That'd pretty much be my ideal Lindsey concert experience. And man, I wish I was that cool under pressure, I'm sure he appreciated the 'genius' comment.

I met one of my musical heroes (Chris Thile!) a few months ago, and I stuttered so badly I just had to shut up. But I got a hug out of it, so not a total loss.

Yes, I was lucky enough to meet him backstage after a show. He was so friendly and nice. And, I've mentioned before he has the softest hands! LOL.

I met Lindsey after his show in vegas for the GOS tour, i had flown from Australia on both the under the skin and the Gift tours, and had a 45min chat with Neale and had about a 15min chat with Linds, the pic is in my avatar!
