Welsh, do you know if Digital SLR cameras are allowed (the larger cameras with long lenses)? That's the only camera I brought to Chicago, thinking my dad had a point-and-shoot camera.. I just can't afford to have my camera taken up, too high of a price tag on it :/

NO, I would say that cameras with removable lenses (SLR) are not allowed at any venue. It seems as if LB is OK with non-flash photography but the venues don't seem to care and pick on people using any type of a camera.

Bummer. I'm going to call park west in just a few to find out what their camera policy is and where parking is. Thanks for the info Pattie.

When I was told no photos, I went to security and asked what the deal was. They told me it was Lindsey's management, NOT Taft Theater policy. Because I mentioned that on the door (as well on their website) Taft says "non-professional" cameras allowed. So that's their 10 second andswer.

Which sucked. They took my batteries and I do NOT have a photo of him signing my guitar, but here is what I took when I got home:
