I thought Stevie's RS interview was just weird. Rambling, incoherent and bizarre in places. |

It's a shame it has to end this way.

mac not back
after thinking this over for the past year my conclusion is that BuckVie should have had Mick and John with them on that 'Stevie-less' Fleetwood Mac tour that never was but should have been.
Even if that would have halved their audience the integrity would still be intact, and then BuckVie would have been free to collaborate to their (and our) hearts content! They just wanted him in the beginning, anyway. It just would have restored original intention for the band |

Were they busy? Did they not want to tour? Did they decide that they had already pissed Stevie off enough? Did Stevie let her displeasure be known? |

Mick and John were probably out of their price range. The tour would probably have lost money had they shelled out the big bucks it would have taken to hire them. Even with Mick and John in the band, without the name Fleetwood Mac I don't think they would have been able to fill larger venues or command higher ticket prices.

Or are you suggesting they should have fired Stevie? If so I disagree. You can't rightfully call it "Fleetwood Mac" without Stevie and Lindsey both. Under any circumstances. Last edited by cbBen; 01-16-2019 at 06:36 PM.. |

From an interview with Keith Olsen “Then I got a call on New Year’s Eve, and Mick says, “I’ve had some bad news. Bob Welch just decided to leave the band. So, that fellow in that band you played me—would you see if that guy would like to join my band?” And I said, “Well, they’re going to come as a set. Because they’re very much into their own thing, and the only chance of getting them to drop that would be to bring them both on.” And he says, “Well, maybe that will work. Can you see if you can convince them to join my band?” https://www.premierguitar.com/articl...ds_Keith_Olsen

Stevie also told thousand times that she went and bought all FM records as soon as they joined the band, when in fact she asked Mick for them because of course they didn't have any money.

I always wondered how she could afford all those albums when they were basically broke!

She was probably turning tricks to support them also. Sex is nothing to her. Sex, drugs and rock and roll. She’s lived it.

"Bought" or "got" (from Mick)... same difference.

I wonder what she thought of Road Runner or Mrs Scarrott.
