Default Lindsey talks on IG

Go to his insta story. Very interesting. I’m sure we’ll have apologists coming out here, again, of course. But wow!

Cool thing to see him being more open with the fans. Also cool to see his optimism about a sequel to BuckVie but it irks me he says hes reached out and nobody has responded.

I was sad that Christine was included in that.

Since she can no longer sing or play the keyboards it begs the question of why he would even bother to call the crone in the first place

Well, just like OGB, they can sell more seats combined, rather than divided.

Even a man with principles will make concessions.

She can write, play, and sing--all in the studio. Her keyboard parts are noticeable and definitely hers on her songs from LB/CM; her voice sounds terrific--with the aid of studio gadgetry; and her songs hold up. She still does well much of what LB loves to do in the studio, which includes building up tracks and playing around with sounds.

I have no idea why the band isn't micing her keyboards in live performances. My assumption is they want a slicker feel--and Christine's live keyboard work has always been earthy and propulsive.

Her voice live appears to be shot. That is sad. But "Too Far Gone" sounded routinely very good on the LB/CM tour.

Thanks for posting, Elle.
He stated he has made constant overtures towards Christine, John, Stevie and Mick, since he was let go of FM, and so far he has had total "radio silence."
I noticed somebody asked him if he would do a follow-up to the "Buckvie" project and he hinted it was possible. I am curious if that question was answered before the unfortunate events. I am not seeing a date stamp on the instagram questions and answers??

what what what??

Can anyone give more on this, copy and paste his answers??

Don't Instagram Stories go away after a day? Thought they were like Snapchat. It wold be good to capture, even if someone just takes a pic of the screen full of questions and answers with their phone. You know, so when the doubters come in demanding PROOF and all that.

I'm starting to wish my mom didn't get me those tickets. I feel like I've betrayed Lindsey

I hear ya.

I'm taking my kids to see FM for their first time. They saw Buckingham McVie last year and now they want "the real thing". Obviously I was hugely disappointed when all this came down.
They don't seem to care.

So I'm going with an open mind, but it feels like a betrayal. Will catch Lindsey on his tour too...

Clearly Lindsey is the “real thing” and not those four fantastic ex bandmates that are not answering his calls because hey! they’re too busy rehearsing.... for the past six months.

Glad to know we were not wrong.

numerous fans screencapped all his responses. i will post them / link to them in LB forum, in appropriate thread.

here's the one people here are discussing as related to FM -
