Default Billy singing Copperhead Road

My 8th month old Oliver just wanted everyone to know he loves this song and stops crying when it is on, and even falls asleep on Daddy's lap listening to it.

Much better than Steve Earle's version

If I had a nickel for everytime I played "Copperhead Road" while I was in a country band, I'd................be getting paid a royalty.

...seriously, though, I lost the continual battle over trying to get the band to play it more along the lines of Billy's arrangement rather than Steve Earle's original. When my classic rock band was requested to play it one night, we kind of naturally played it "Billy"-style. We even kept it in the set for a few months, since we got a lot of positive audience feedback each time we played it thereafter. Sadly, {moment of silence} that band is now defunct...or should I say, "de-funk-ed".
