Thanks lazy poker for the "Shake Your Moneymaker" link (whose video was used for the "If It Ain't Me" video) and the link to the earlier thread. I hadn't heard "If It Ain't Me" before. A Google search brought up this 2013 thread, http://ledge.fleetwoodmac.net/showthread.php?t=52355, in which becca asks about some BBC (bootleg?) recordings including "I Need Your Love" (not "So Bad"). BklynBlue reports that "I Need Your Love" is actually the Jimmy Rogers song, "If It Ain't Me". So, is Ms Moose's find the BBC recording?

yes, it is ("top gear", june 2, 1968; recorded may 27, 1968 at bbc studio 1), and - to the best of my knowledge - it's the only version the mac ever recorded. and yes, jimmy rogers released the song under the title "if it ain't me (who you thinking of)" as the b-side of his classic "walking by myself" (1956).
