If naming the new Studio album was left up to you?...

I would call it Twist of Fate because if they never did the reunion or it didn't go well.. we would not even be looking forward to a new cd.

I've got a couple of great ideas for a title:

1. Slopping the Hogs
2. With Love & Thanks to the Cats at Warner-Reprise
3. Oh, This Is Futile
4. The Decline & Fall of Edward Gibbon
5. McVie's Outta Here

I'm sure chiliD or David can back me up here... I recall it being announced in 1990, that Fleetwood Mac's new album would be called 'Twist Of Fate'... but obviously it was released under the title 'Behind The Mask.'

Then in 1994, the title given for the band's upcoming album was 'Another Link In The Chain'... but, of course, it was released as 'Time' in 1995.

Given the fact that Stevie and Lindsey have renewed their musical partnership, and are working together again... and given the fact that Fleetwood Mac will be releasing their first album without Christine McVie in 30+ years, either title would actually be pretty appropriate for the 2003 release.

I want to see FM come up with something NEW!!!!!

No old titles that were never used, nothing generic like "Twist of Fate" or "Better late than never". And certainly NOTHING that even remotely mentions "Chain..." in the title. The Rumours references have been over used to death (again with the crystal ball on the cover for the best of album).

These people are some of the most creative people who have ever graced our earth. Its time for something new and brilliant!

I would call it Hey, I'm Walking Here! Can it be very long before they are all sitting on a bus to Florida with some gigolo in a cowboy hat (maybe Madonna in her new yee-haw look) while a Harry Nilsson song plays?
