Lindsey just made $19 million on the sale of a house. He didn’t need to be held hostage. What did he have to lose? A gig? He was already booking gigs.

No one ever has enough money. He had to lose being a member of FM and making millions touring with them. Same reason Mike and Neil joined. You know, flying on private planes and all that fun stuff rich people can do. Playing your songs to lots of people in places like the LA Forum. Really?!

No that would be Mike and Neil, not necessarily Lindsey. Lindsey wanted to be creative and make FM more than a cash cow grab. Lindsey likes money. We all like money.

Neil just released two albums in the last year with no expectation of it leading to anything beyond what his fans would appreciate, which he was completely happy with. Mike has been rightfully mourning the loss of his best friend and bandmate of 50 years. Both have had storied careers. Neither needed this gig. Neil has said that he is under the impression that there will be new music. Maybe he’ll be right.

I totally agree. He deserved better and frankly I can't figure out why so many fans are supporting the band knowing full well what went down. Mick and SN did him dirty and for no good reason. The lied and in Mick's case continues to do so. I also find it so insulting how people think anyone can replace Lindsey but not SN. He is irreplaceable. Mike and Neil should have said no. but obviously Money is worth more then anything to them. I can assure you that make no mistake if what happened to Lindsey happened to SN most so called FM fans would not pay 10 cents to see them in concert no matter what they were playing. |
