he just really gave us a treat this time around as far as i'm concerned, with so much great, completely new stuff. i enjoy blasting it in the car with open windows!

on both UTS and GOS, i thought the best stuff was still old GOS1 stuff... not this time around! and imagine, this CD will also have SSS on it. that's 7 stellar songs that we know of.
I agree. I think these 5 songs are potentially all better than Love Runs Deeper, which I DO think is great.

I can't stop listening. Is it just enthusiasms (or my recent concussion?) or is this his best collection of songs since Tusk?

Fleetwood Mac helped me through a time of heartbreak. 12 years later, they broke my heart.

Maybe. potentially, yes, I think so. It'll all come down to the studioproduction. But the songstructures really are meandering in my head. All of them. What a catchy tunes. I really think he wrote them with a new Mac-album in mind.....

If that's true, it may be the first time ever a new Mac project was folded over into a solo album.

When I listened to them I thought they were very Mac-ish - hope he's got some songs in reserve for an FM album soon!

Well, they've always been accused of holding back good stuff for their solo albums in the past. Nowadays, for the exposure, Lindsey probably wants his best stuff on a Mac album.

I wonder if he's happy with the SWS songs. He seemed to apologize a little for Did You Miss Me. I hope he doesn't think any of these songs are too light, because I found the 6 we heard very substantive, even if they are hummable. Much more fiber than something like It Was You and Cast Away Dreams.

That's my fav track on GOS - makes me melt! I love his really melodic singalong tunes.

Those were my thoughts too, but in fairness LB has had two of his own solo albums relatively recently when there could have been an FM album!

Maybe... The Mac (Stevie) didn't want one then either. And in a way, I just think these songs sound like the perfect pop application of his tinklytinkly thing he's been working on in these latest, more esoteric, ablums. In other words, he wanted to be free to do his own ablums because the band (stevie) was pissed at him for SYW--on which even the least song on that ablum is more interesting than the best (even if better) song on IYD.

Well. clock in on the Soldier's Angel-song and you'll find one of the most experimental and best songs she's ever recorded.

what what????
i must admit i was never really a Bucky!solo kinda girl, i'm a Mac fan and i liked his songs here and there. but to be fair, I like Stevie's songs here and there too depends on the mood. UTS i really do not like because i couldnt really get into it and havent listened to it since.

GOS came out OMG firstly i'd OD'd on too much Did You Miss Me that was streaming off the website. I freaking love pretty much the whole album, but especially Love Runs Deeper and DYMM why on earth would he apologize for it and Bel Air Rain gaaaaaaaaawd that's brilliant. so now with these songs i'm like hmmm they're either going to be killer awesome or dear god please no more UTS. but i gotta say i really like all of them atm especially POI. im partial to his weird tinkling stuff and the musical elements of songs i suppose. like play in the rain but good lyrics AND good tinkling stuff ... SOLD
