Though John Forsythe is gone, would be possible to have a new Dynasty show? I'm sure more than one producer may be evaluating the idea. I can imagine the thread Admit it... Who watched DYNASTY? Alexis is Back!

Y'know, I was just thinking about that. I don't think Joan Collins' health would allow, alas. I don't know about Linda Evans, but does anyone actually care about Krystal?
With the exception of First Fallon and First Stephen, the younger set was something of a disaster. When they changed Stephen's sexuality for the third time and Fallon returned inexplicably British, it all sort of went to hell.

I don't think we'll ever get a Dynasty reunion, but I guess if they could rope in Michael Nader, Heather Locklear, and Pamela Sue Martin I'd be in.

What's up with Joan? I didn't read any new about her, is she ill or weak?

I have no reason to believe she's at death's door; she's just looked frail to me in the last few years. Wasn't there something about her passing out at the Oscars? She seems to be holding up well for her age, but the woman is 79, and doesn't look to me like she'd be up for shooting an hour-long weekly series.
Than again, Larry Hagman is 80 and was recently (still is?) battling cancer. Who's to say?

Yes I love Dynasty too.I think they had one of those stupid get together reunion special years ago like Dallas did.Yes Alexis was a beech like J.R. was a pricker bush.

Also I enjoy Knots Landing,Falcon Crest and Flamingo Road. That was great 1980's TV.

Dynasty never held my attention as long as Dallas did. I liked Falcon Crest better, but I didn't watch it either like I did Dallas.

Still watching it, and really enjoying it! There's some subtle continuity issues that have yet to be explained, but I don't really care to nitpick it. I think the new show runners have done a great job of continuing the Ewing family story and although the season finale was really not much of a cliffhanger (aside from it being, quite literally, a "cliff" "hanger" with Cliff Barnes being in an airplane hanger...it set up the next season quite well. Lots of good drama with great twists and turns.

Thumbs up Yes

I am still watching & will keep on watching as long as it holds my interest. My husband has been watching it, too, & he's not usually into soap operas. Very surprised during the season finale. I never saw that coming.
