Help: NEED 100 FTC Complaints To Open Investigation On JT!!!

Thank you for all your support and now we are at the moment of truth...we have the ability to open an investigation with the FTC if we have 100 complaints. Considering that over 100 signed the petition on day one, then I think that we can do this pretty easy...but, we need you all.

One of our great detectives found this and asked me to post it, so here it is.

You can either call your complaint in or you can do it online. If you call it in, you get a case number right then. We need EVERYONE who calls to send us the case number to:

so we can keep track and press this issue. If you have the time to call and get the number, please do, if not whatever you do we totally appreciate from the bottom of our hearts. This is a government agency so help us please.

Also, you do not have to give us, meaning me and the group your name...you can just give us your case number. We have no need of it if you do not want to leave it. The case number is how we will get them on the investigation.

The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) enters Internet, Telemarketing, Identity Theft and other fraud related complaints into Consumer Sentinel, a secure, online database available to hundreds of civil and criminal law enforcement agencies in the US and abroad. If you joined and do not live in the US, you may be able to file a complaint as well, as it applies to out of the country as well.

Do you have to be a fan club member to take action? Id love to help, but my only beef with JT is his "bannings" on the board. I was lucky not to get sucked in for the fan club fee. Let me know ~ thanks.

I've got mine filed. Very easy to do takes about 5 minutes at most on the phone. Come on Fleetwood Mac fans lets get this ball rolling and have investigation started ASAP. Sent my case number to seek n peace already. LANDSLIDE

By nature of the fact that you have to show that you lost something in the fraud, I would guess that this one would required that you either joined the club, or that you did not receive goods ordered. You would have to have suffered a financial loss, I would guess, but, you could call them and see if you, as a citizen, can file a complaint about fraud being perpetrated, even if it was not against you personally.

If you orderd a CD and it did not arrive by the time CD was released to the public that is false advertisment (fraud) . You are entitled to a refund file a complaint. OK-LANDSLIDE

Also, if you ordered a cd, or more than one, and did not get your posters, that would qualify. If you got one that is all mashed and messed up like my friend, and no one will make it right, that would qualify.

I filed a complaint and didn't join the club. You don't have to be in the club to file a complaint.

On the other hand, the band will be harmed if the fan club spokesmen keep practicing deception in handling valid complaints.

Many lies and half truths have been circulated by fan club spokesmen such as:

1) claims to credit card companies that the club provided membership cards with terms we agreed to
2) we AGREED our usernames should be our password for ticket sales. (Everyone knows that's not true!)

Please file a complaint and force the fan club operators to come clean.

Why all the deception?

Becasue they don't believe enough people care, so they can get away with it.

Don't let them get away with it. File an online complaint and include a link to the fraud website.

Hay seek, I filed with the online form. It has areas that allow you to explain your complaints, and it is set up to file a complaint without having actualy lost money. Very easy to file, and well worth the few minutes doing so. I thought it important to mention children were targeted in the fan club fraud also. I'll let you know if they contact me with a case number?........Mark
