For a minute, I thought Josh was back. I love Jason. There's a new house being built a few blocks down, and there's a huge sign outside that says "MODEL HOME". I was like, OMG THE BLUTHS R MOVING IN!11one.

Hope your dad recovers nicely

what like progresive metal? ugh can't stand that stuff. i hate the big hair and the big guitar and keyboard solos and screaming things that aren't words into microphones so that the audience can "feel there pain". give me bands jumping around on stage like its a real festival like it should be, boppy rhythm just smashed up a bit. sorry cant stand that progressive metal and that whole "its so deep and we're in pain thing" that goes with it. i love punk and the "I don't give a **** if youre in pain I wanna smash out some power chords and have fun with 100 people".

I like progressive metal, but none of the bands I listen to whine (ala EMO) about "feeling their pain".

Actually, I prefer death metal which makes modern punk bands (I like the classics like the Pistols, The Misfits Dead Kennedy's, Black Flag, The Ramones, etc.) sound like country/western acts

why are you comparing death metal with punk bands? why not compare the beatles with death metal? punk was old time rock 'n' roll all smashed up with anarchy but usually with that boppy beat. the aren't at all similar and death metal is about people with long hair doing huge guitar solos, screaming suicidal lyrics that you can't hear and just making a sound that's too loud to interpret. punk is about people grabbing instruments and having a ****ing good night to music that they can smash guitars to but also bop there head to. your comparing them cause they both like to smash things and dress in black a lot and outrage people but the music isn't anything alike and punk is so much more fun

punk >>>>>>>>>>> death metal.

hey ho let's go!!

deathmetal is about shock value and pushing music to the extremes (Btw, not all death metal has suicidal lyrics, it is just deemed 'death metal' since the words 'thrash metal' became somewhat archaic - basically modern day death metal is similar to the late 80's thrash in lyric content only. And late 80s thrash borrowed lyric content from the punk influence...)

Btw, My sister is a punk
