Isn't it probably the same piano version that's already floating around (or very similar)?

I hadn't seen that before! Thank you!

Edit: My god, it's beautiful.

Thanks very much, David.

That's what I want to know?

The super deluxe set looks amazing but I'll struggle to find nearly £70 just after Christmas.

I wish they would release the rumours japan documentary on dvd and all there professional music vidoes too would be nice.I think I am rumours out of how many times they have to repackage that awesome album. It's like Star Wars how many times do you have to buy it cause they change it up a bit. It would be nice if they release on dvd the Tusk Documentary, HBO Concert Mirage Tour 1982 alot of gems on dvd would be awesome I think.

Weird, I didn't know anything about this!
I was going through my CD's the other day and came across my Rumours rerelease from 2004 and was saddened because the acoustic Gold Dust Woman/If You Ever Did Believe skips on it from my carelessness.

BUT NOW THIS! This is super exciting!

And a Stevie acoustic demo of The Chain!?!!?? HELLO.
This is a real treat; and I hope it's not too expensive but it probably will be lol.

My only complaint would be how there aren't many "new" songs. But still, yay!

Im interested in hearing that acoustic/piano demo of POTU, I wonder if it's the same as the bootleg or not, either way - at least it'll be remastered ^_^

It's on grainy film, and the indoor stuff is very dark. Parts of it were used in dozens of other TV documentaries and commercials over the years, and I think it's the film that was played for Soviet officials in 1978 when the band was arranging a short tour in the Soviet Union.

Rhiannon (soundstage)
You Make Loving Fun (soundstage)
Say You Love Me (soundstage)
Go Your Own Way (soundstage)
World Turning (concert)
I'm So Afraid (concert)
Over My Head (concert)

The concert footage is supposed to be from spring 1976 Campus Stadium at University of CA Santa Barbara.
MTV/VH-1 snaked the soundstage footage for their on-air rotation (back when they played music videos 24/7)

And, again, I'm in the audience of the UC Santa Barbara show, about 15 yards from the stage, straight back from Chris' keyboard set up.

The opening acts that day were Small Wonder (a short-lived band from Canada who were playing their one & only US gig that day...5 years later while touring Canada, my band had the unbelievable opportunity to open for Burton Cummings...whose keyboard player, Jimmy Phillips, had been Small Wonder's keyboard player.) and UFO (whose guitarist, Michael Schenker left UFO just a couple of shows later).

Classic Album to be Available in Deluxe and Expanded Editions

December 12, 2012 9:00 AM ETFleetwood Mac couldn't quite come together on a new album, so the band is going with a tried-and-true classic instead: they're planning to mark the 35th anniversary of Rumours with deluxe and expanded editions that are due early next year.

The new three-disc expanded edition will include the original album, a dozen unreleased live recordings from the group's 1977 world tour and a disc of unreleased takes from recording sessions for Rumours. The deluxe version includes everything in the expanded edition, along with an additional disc of outtakes, a DVD of the 1977 documentary The Rosebud Film and a copy of the album on vinyl. The expanded edition will cost $24.98, and the deluxe edition will sell for $99.98.

Rumours has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide since its release in 1977. The new versions are due January 29th on Rhino, and will accompany Fleetwood Mac's first tour since 2009, which kicks off April 4th in Columbus, Ohio.
