How about they shake it up a bit and add some "Sisters of the Moon" and maybe some "Tango in the Night" tracks?

To the people who want SOTM, I don't think you would like what you got. That ship has sailed. Now Thrown Down or Destiny Rules would be great additions. |

More winery talk....
Quote:
Persistent talk of winery dates - pretty average. If they play a couple of wineries in addition to the regular venues in the major markets, that's cool, but if they choose to do only winery shows in certain states at the expense of a regular venue, that's not so cool. Thankfully, Qld's not overly famous for its wineries, although there is this pesky little one about five minutes down the road from me which some artists seem to be fond of playing. Wineries just seem far too refined for the Mac. I want indoor loudness! |

Fleetwood Mac To Play Winery On Australian Tour
by Paul Cashmere - August 15 2009
photo by Ros O'Gorman Expect an announcement any day now for Fleetwood Mac with an Australian winery included as part of their Unleashed tour. The Australian and New Zealand tour is set for December and will one winery show, Undercover hears. Current published dates for Fleetwood Mac’s Unleashed tour go through to the European tour in November. Australasia is next. The Unleashed tour is a greatest hits tour. There is no new music from Fleetwood Mac in the works. In a phone hook-up with Undercover, Lindsey Buckingham said that not having new music on this tour "frees you up to enjoy each other as people. Let’s have a good time and value the friendships and history. It takes the pressure off and allows more fun than we would normally be able to have." The Fleetwood Mac line-up is Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. Christine McVie has been out of the band for more than a decade now and happily living the retired life in England. "I’ve been the only girl in Fleetwood Mac since 1998, so I’m used to it now,” Stevie said during the conference all. “But I miss Christine. The loss of Christine as one of my best girlfriends was horrific to me. Not a day goes by that I don’t wish she would call up and say, 'I’m back.' " An official announcement for the tour is due soon. Fleetwood Mac expected Australian dates: December 1 and 2, Brisbane, Entertainment Centre December 5, Hunter Valley, Hope Estate Winery December 7 and 8, Sydney, Acer Arena December 11 and 12, Perth, Members Equity December 15 and 16, Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena December 19, New Zealand http://undercover.com.au/News-Story....alian_Wineries Last edited by vivfox; 08-15-2009 at 05:45 AM.. |

Dream of my life that will never, ever happen:
Fleetwood Mac plays a show at both the Oracle (Oakland) and HP Pavillion (San Jose), followed by an evening at the GORGEOUS winery venue up the street from me. My dad is close friends with the owner so I'd be guaranteed outstanding tickets and most likely a little backstage time. AND the place has a total mysical atmosphere-- 180 degree view of the Bay Area; the stage is against the original old, vine-covered main building. Stevie would love it. Sigh, to dream. |

Australasia basically means Australia and New Zealand. That area of the Pacific.

^Hey now, you forgot to mention PNG and some of those little Pacifc Island nations
Really, when we effectively mean Australia and NZ, why don't we just say so? It only takes two more words. I can't wait for those dates to be confirmed so I can start planning. I think some holidays are in order. Disappointing that Adelaide is not there in those rumoured dates though. I hope that doesn't end up being the case. |

Australasia is OZ, NZ and Asia pacific which is crap coz we are not really in the same region and really have no similarities. Oz & NZ shouldnt even be grouped together i hope these are only spec dates...and REAL dates will be up shortly i need to make some $$ heheheehe
