Big bad Malibu days

Today i was listening to the San Francisco show (at the POFA on june 6th 2006) and when Lindsey is introducing the band, he says about Neal Haywood that they "go all the way back to the big bad Malibu days when they were all hurting themselves". And then he chuckles and says "She is still hurting herself"
Does anyone know who or what he is referring to ?

Someone in the audience that yelled. That was always part of LB's "script" during the shows.

It was November 6, 2006. I was there in the second row sitting next to Amber.

Ans as for the date; you're right ofcourse.Being european i keep confusing the month for the day
