A really random Tusk questions
Beautiful Child is my favorite song on the Tusk album. Does anyone happen to know what Christine says during the "your hands held mine so few hours" part. It sounds maybe like "fall into my arms," but I really have no idea. Anyway, just up late listening to some songs and this came to mind. Thanks for your help.

Hi,
off the top of my head I think she says " I fell into love."

I hear...
...the same thing: "I fell into love", that is.
Her background vocals here are precious. Song of the moment - Love In Store

While I like most of the songs on Tusk (it's prob. my fave
album from that lineup), I especially liked the ones from Christine and Stevie as almost all of them had all three singers harmonizing. Beautiful Child is also one of my very favorites. There is a feeling/vibe on that song that's hard to describe, but perhaps haunting might be a good word. |

My guess is the same
Chalk another "I fell into love" in there. I LOVE Beautiful Child, it's my fave Tusk song. It is GORGEOUS...I love Lindsey's "ooh...ooh...ooh". Sigh...

Now that we're discussing it...
...another random Tusk question... who is that female voice behind Lindsey's lead vocal in the title track? I'm pretty sure it's Lindsey's femenine side (i.e. altered or something), but I could be wrong... it could be Stevie or even a guest vocalist? I'm talking about the verses... Anybody know?

Cristian, I don't actually know, but I'll bet that's Lindsey voice behind his lead vocal on Tusk. I always assumed that he did background vocals on most if not all of his songs on Tusk. It's almost like he did a solo album inside of a Fleetwood Mac album.

I LOVE Beautiful Child!!! Harmonies are fantastic....precious is a very good word!!!
Christine's line is either "We fell into love" or "I fell into love"........haven't determined which is correct yet.........I always thought it was "We" but it could be "I". Also, I always figured it was Christine, or Christine and Stevie behind Lindsey's voice on Tusk.........I really don't know. Stephanie

Listening to it over and over I tend to think that it's just Lindsey backing himself like in almost all of his Tusk songs like macfan stated before... but I really don't know still.

Hmm now you got mewonderin
I always assumed it was Lindsey whispering falsetto on the Tusk verse. It fits in with the rest of the LB songs like That's All etc being obviously LB. It would be more 'fun' to think of he and Christine or Stevie recording that crazy verse together though. Which is possible as it was obviously not one of his 'bathroom cuts' and was the first single of the album, hence the likelihood of a group sound playing a role.
