Yes, please! No more Stephanie. Seriously, no more beating that old dead horse (figuratively and literally speaking)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Second Hand News live. And of course Fakewood Mac won't do it anymore, so I really hope it's on the setlist.

Call me old-fashioned. I think it should be a Singles collection.

i hope not. his singles (that actually were released as singles) mostly suck. his Best Of however can be divine.

I'd assume Atlantic or any other label would only allow a Best of Album for LB to be at minimum 50% Mac songs.

If you are making a list you probably need to cap LB solo stuff to 8-10 songs, and likely you're just looking at the songs released as singles.

Probably something quite predictable like....

Go Your Own Way
Second Hand News
Never Going Back Again
Tusk
Oh Diane
Big Love
My Little Demon
Peacekeeper
Trouble
Go Insane
Wrong
Countdown
Show You How
Did You Miss Me
Love Runs Deeper
Seeds We Sow

Surely this will be a purely solo Lindsey Buckingham album. As people have said, Fleetwood Mac songs are only likely if they are live from Lindsey solo shows. Best of would most likely be his most notable solo songs (single releases) plus a selection of non-single releases. Not even sure it'd include Buckingham McVie songs either. We'll see.

nope. it's not Greatest Hits. it's Best Of. that (i hope!) will be very different.

i don't need LB's hits. i need his Best Of. and i need to hear those songs live.

We already have best of, and have heard multiple versions. The record companies already got us. They want to market to the biggest audience. I suspect you’ll be dissatisfied

another disappointment to add to this horrible year LB-wise.

we'll be lucky if he's allowed to put anything out. or tour. because remember band is painting him as reneging on tour promises - even though he didn't! he may be painted as too big of a risk or something.

You are joking about their being mac songs on their right? NO CHANCE in hell.

I doubt there will be any Fleetwood Mac songs...much like Mick not allowing Stevie to include "Silver Springs" on "Timespace", I doubt Mick (and Warner Brothers) would agree to the release of any Mac tracks.

I'm also wondering if "Holiday Road" will be included? After all, that's up there with both "Trouble" and "Go Insane" as his most recognizable and commercially successful tracks.

Default Best Of Buck

Here is my current imaginary Best Of album track list.
- I limited it to 12 songs.
- I excluded anything originally released as Fleetwood Mac.
- I tried to be representative, but my bias for his 90s tracks (OOTC and the GOS demos) comes through.
- The first half are songs that I think are listenable for the widest audience, and are mostly in major key.
- The second half is more virtuoso and more minor key.
- Sorry for any notable exceptions (e.g. Go Insane the song). Nothing against them! He can put them on the Best Of Volume II.

1 - You Do Or You Don't (Out of the Cradle)
2 - Wait For You (Gift of Screws)
3 - Trouble (Law and Order)
4 - Love Runs Deeper (Gift of Screws)
5 - Down On Rodeo (Under the Skin)
6 - Shut Us Down (Under the Skin)

7 - Wrong (Out of the Cradle)
8 - To Try For The Sun (Under the Skin)
9 - This Is The Time (incl. intro) (Out of the Cradle)
10 - She Acts Like You (This is 40 OST)
11 - Stars Are Crazy (Seeds We Sow)
12 - Play In The Rain (edit) (Go Insane)
* No such 'edit' currently exists; I basically mean an edit that would shorten this song by limiting it more to just the first minute or so and then most of the B side.
