So in 10 years they've gone from 100% to 40%....

thats a lot of fans that aren't there or interested anymore...

I know people (myself included) whose fandom can be counted in decades and had never missed a Fleetwod Mac tour(expect maybe for Time) since the 1970s that sat this tour out.

Myself included. I don't see them as a working band anymore. High ticket prices and a general lack of interest in seeing them, made me sit this one out. I never thought I'd feel like this about them, but I do.

Even me being a huge Christine fan never really understood just how much she brought to this band... They're kind of boring now...

I'd agree with you. I think Christine's absence from the band has changed the dynamics of it, and not in a good way. Having said that though, what's most apparent to me is that the real strength of the Rumours lineup, was the combination of the three songwriters, and how well they complemented each other. And in all fairness to Stevie and Lindsey, I think the same outcome would have happened if one of those two members weren't in the band anymore, and Chris was still there.

Thanks for the tallies, MacMan. Quite excellent attendance. I wonder if it is that Fleetwood Mac is now more popular in Europe than in the US, or the UK audiences haven't been as saturated with concerts by Stevie and Lindsey solo since the SYW tour. Whichever, it seems that 'percentage wise' this UK leg was even better attended than the US dates this year. What a lucky band

Totals from the European leg of its Unleashed Tour place Fleetwood Mac on the Hot Tours list with grosses topping $13 million from ten venues. Top-grosser is a two-show run at Wembley Arena (Oct. 30-31) with 22,209 in attendance and ticket sales at $2.5 million. After the U.K. trek, the tour will continue in December with dates in Australia and New Zealand.

I guess this is what they mean by getting their two cents in?
I'm suprised we have a Boxscore report on these shows this soon.

There is no way the second Dublin show was sold out. It was pretty full... but there were still plenty of empties up in the upper reaches.

I'm shocked at how well the overseas shows have sold! With those markets largely being ignored by the band for decades, and their never charting well outside the US, I thought they'd kinda flop. Instead they seem to be selling better outside the US than they are here!

I'd still love to know what take home profit is after paying jet chartering, hotel suites, catering, promoters, backing band members, stage set up/tear down crews, hair/makeup/wardrobe people, attorneys, managers, etc. I'm betting each band member only walks away with $3-4 million in their pockets after this year long tour.

I'm almost wondering if that's why Stevie loves touring solo more these days... a lot more money with a lot less Lindsey Buckingham!
