I think they'll still stick to their 1 obscure song per writer including christine next tour especially if there is no new album if anything just so they can maintain the illusion they are playing something for everyone, even die hard fans even if it's just that, an illusion.

Just use the dance tour as a template. They can still do every hit done on the Dance tour, just simply subbing in 4 obscure songs for the 4 new songs. Stevie even sacrificed doing gypsy on the second leg of the SYW tour instead of axing beautiful child. I think even they know they have to keep that street cred up

I agree. And if there are bookies, I'd say an obscure Tusk song is an odds on favorite for what Christine will be doing.

This thread is starting to turn into the Stevie Nicks Roast special.LOL..

Some of you probably remember those Dean Martin Roast specials years back.

I thought she did good on Jimmy's show. The Skit was awesome and funny .

I have to give her credit for doing what she's doing at 65.We are very lucky that she can still perform for us.I got to give her some slack.

Most people at that age are retiring at that age and hanging out down at the Senior Center playing bingo or knitting.

The men would be shooting pool or playing golf .

Yes I hope her feet and legs are going to be OK.

Exactly! She may be a little late to the media game but at least she has been doing more TV the last few years...If only she would realize how helpful a presence on social media (twitter) would be for her...The return of the "Frankenbok's" is troubling...

THIS - not only because I consider myself social media-savvy personally, but professionally handling social media for entertainment brands (although mostly movie/tv). I'm always daydreaming about how much potential she and FM have for a legit social media presence...

As I posted in another thread her @StevieNicks twitter has just been given it's "Blue Check" so now people will know it's the real deal...You're right she is missing out big time by not taking advantage...

Her twitter is so bizarre. A few months back for one day it was randomly super active, even retweeting tweets direction @ the account and such, it was really quite amusing... and then it deleted everything it had done, like someone had gotten in trouble for doing it or something.

Yeah, that was when I really became aware how flawed it is... It made no sense at all. Especially because it was all like "Get #GetStevieVerified trending!" The page had been established in 2011! How had no one thought to verify it in the three years since?

Personally I think someone other than "Camp Stevie" was tweeting that day...When the account @StevieNicks was tweeting to (@OfficialTVC) was questioned about the tweets having been deleted they said it was because they had accomplished what they had set out too do...
I screen caped some of the @OfficialTVC tweets...And if you go to page 64 of the "Nicks McNuggets" thread there are more tweets from that day...

I think FB and Twitter and other social media sites are great for artists and actors to keep their fans up to date on their doings.Plus good for businesses and public places to keep the people up to date with things.

I personally did not catch to bug to get hooked to them.I had a FB account and I had to dump it when I got an virus from it and infected my computer and did a number to my email account.

OK back on track.

I hope Jimmy's people books FM on his show this fall while they are on tour.
They are already booked Oct 9th for a Today Show appearance as we know.
She has a great time on his shows as we see.

Maybe they all can do a skit together.

If "Camp Stevie" of FM were to realize it's not 1979 and that they need to take active role in promotion and not rely on the record company...
If Stevie were to use her twitter actively she could easily have 100,000's of followers..
Stevie's missing out on the ability to inform a LARGE group of when she's doing something not to mention it's FREE and instant publicity...

As for Kimmel perhaps Fleetwood Mac could re-enact the infamous "Silver Springs" parking lot incident...

You caught a virus? Didn't you use protection?

Yes .I can understand being a person out of date with things.I'm one of them too without getting into the current music scene and TV shows and movies.I'm still stuck in the past up to the 1980's.LOL.

Atlease Stevie is enjoying the current crop of artists.

I had my antivirus running but it failed me and I went to McAfee through my ISP.

Hahahaha.I think that wont go over good.Jimmy could play Lindsey and Stevie will end up slugging him.

[Tom Petty talks about the skit Stevie and Jimmy did, excerpt from interview]

SC Now, By Sandy Cohen, April 22, 2014

http://www.scnow.com/entertainment/a...7a43b2370.html

Petty and his band just finished their latest album, "Hypnotic Eye," set for release this summer. That allowed time for him to check out Jimmy Fallon's recent duet — as Petty — with Stevie Nicks.

"I was amazed by how well they did the Heartbreakers," he said. "It was brilliant. Very funny."

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers also signed on as the headliner of the Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco this August, along with Kanye West.

The musicians haven't yet met, but Petty said, "Everybody loves Kanye West, right?"
