This almost deserves a thread of its own, but I just found out that a freakin' Steak 'n' Shake has finally opened in Austin! I grew up in the midwest, we used to eat at Steak 'n' Shake regularly. There's nothing like 'em! It's very close to my house...I'm in trouble...

I've never seen anything except a chocolate one here. I'm still not convinced that WE have any other flavor here....

I don't know. maybe our Wendy's just sucks. I must investigate because I'm not big on the chocolate ones either.

BUT. we always used to take the chocolate chip cookies they used (they may still have them) to have and warm it up and dip it in the frosty. mmmMMMmmm...I know you don't like sweets, but someone on here can benefit from that!!!

Anal Andy just called Wendy's.
They've had vanilla ones here, for about 5 months.
Tomorrow, I shall have one!

(gawd, I need a life!)

My sister works at a Wendy's in Fishers, Indiana where they have vanilla Frosties. I think she told me the chocolate ones are just vanilla with chocolate mix added? I'm not sure. In any case, they exist.

I'm all about "settling" stuff. I have been known to drive people to insanity with my questions. I love information! Doctor, or furnace man......I want to know about everything.

I almost felt like I have a life, this evening. I went out to dinner with one of Cash's vet techs........(and her husband ). We went to Texas Roadhouse. They had bought me a gift card to TR for Xmas, so we decided to go together. I was a very nice time.

It's great that you developed such close relationships with "Cash's people." And I love TR.

I just ate a can of Healthy Choice Gumbo somethingorother soup. it was pretty good.

But man, you really have to look closely at labels! They were on sale, so I was in the store checking them out - some of them were almost 400 calories for 1 can! How is that a healthy choice? This one was just over 200 & had lots of fiber in it, so WW points-wise it was OK. But it's a good thing I actually look at the labels. If I'm going to blow 400 cals, it ain't gonna be on a crappy can of soup.

^^

I always look at those soup labels...I got burned on a can of veggie something or other once and since then always look before I buy.

I'm eating a Lean Cuisine Pizza.

Same here, but only I bought laundry detergent. For real, I don't if anybody ever had this problem before, but it doesn't matter what program I use, or what detergent I use, for the past few weeks my laundry doesn't smell squeaky clean anymore, it's...odorless. It doesn't smell bad and the clothes are clean, it's just that the freshness is gone, and once it comes out of the dryer, it's basically crap, a little stuffy. I want my soft, smells-like-springtime towels and sheets back. I've tried everything, from cleaning out my entire washing machine by using the highest temperature possible (three times in a row!) to trying at least 10 different detergents. I think it's time to buy a new washer, but damnit, I have this lady named Stevie to visit in March.

Oh, to get back on topic, I just finished a bowl of Mac and Cheese.
