Does Your Mother Know is awesome. I also like The Day Before You Came and The Visitor. Frida doesn't get nearly enough credit for her vocal stylings. |

![]() ARTIST: THE PAIR EXTRAORDINAIRE
ALBUM: "IN"-CITEMENT ![]() NOW PLAYING: "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE" (yes, a cover of the Beatle tune) These guys were HOT back in the mid-60s around the SoCal area. They recorded 5 albums on the Liberty label (3 of which were live albums) Carl Craig & Marcus Hemphill, JUST voice & upright bass (occasionally they'd gig with percussionist Earl Palmer) They were Bill Cosby's opening act for a few years. They did Beatle tunes, show tunes, country tunes...all genres of music...all with just Carl's vocals and Marcus' bass. Marcus became a playwrite and TV writer for the Bill Cosby Show...what goes around comes around, I guess. (he passed away in the late 80s). What became of Carl Craig, I have no idea, but there is a Carl Craig (relationship unknown) who was born in 1969 who is a fairly prominent DJ/producer in the techno/hip-hop genre.

![]() "That Means A Lot"-Robin Zander (Cheap Trick) w/Johnny Society performing this Lennon/McCartney track from the "Lost Songs of Lennon & McCartney-From A Window" disc
This disc is surprisingly good, Considering it was only $0.99. The other artists on this disc are Kate Pierson of the B-52's & Graham Parker/Bill Janovitz of Buffalo Tom. The Kate Pierson sung song "Step Inside Love" is a rocking track, So far the best one on this disc (Sung in typical B-52 style). |
