Just saying. And ambiance, IMO, is totally separate from special effects. IMO, the suggestion below would create much more "ambiance" than special effects dependant on a more robust sound system:

I would kill to see Lindsey perform such a show!

Of course, I don't think anyone would accuse either of the fronting musicians of FM of being very spontaneous these days.

I respect Lindsey for wanting to give a first-rate performance, but it really sucks for fans who had tickets, especially those who travelled a long distance to see him. I hope he makes good on rescheduling at a different venue, and does so quickly.

I don't think the effects make his show, I think HE makes his show. But they are a big part of this tour, and, obviously his equipment is what they've been used to in rehearsal and performance.

You can't possibly expect him to turn a show with such a large portion of electric numbers into a completely unplugged show with a couple hours notice. Some artists, sure. This one, no.

It's irrational to think that he would, especially after 1. the venue's equipment was misrepresented during booking and 2. the venue's workers were apparently rude. If I was him, I'd be pissed as hell too. They wouldn't even let them bring additional equipment off the truck to TEST it and SEE if it would work. F that. Many other venues bend over backwards to come to an agreement with the artist so that the patrons will be pleased. It looks like this one barely even tried.
