Something to keep in mind: even on her worst bender, Christine would never write a song about chimpanzees.

Right, why would she step outside of her comfort zone and take a risk? That wouldn't make for good art.

I think the comparisons are pretty baseless...

I wonder if there are threads titled "Worst Stevie song" and "Worst Lindsey song." If there aren't, then I'm wondering why this one exists.

I think all three of them have written clunkers. Of the three, Christine is the most consistent and solid of the songwriters. Although Stevie and Lindsey have occasionally reached heights she has not ("Rhiannon," "Tusky") they aren't immune to awfulness. At her least inspired, Christine is never truly awful. Skies the Limit is her worst.

It's funny. If you reviewed this thread, you'd think that ALL of Christine's songs were bad. So I'll throw out "Songbird." What was she thinking??

Oh Daddy. Never cared for it when I first heard it and it has never grown on me.

Still the same. I think One More Night is her absolute worst.

It's not my favorite, either. But her vocal is so good on it. I always wondered if this was about Dennis Wilson and girlfriend.

I'll be completely honest. The only song of Christine's that I absolutely can't stand is Sugar Daddy. It is sooo flippin' borning...

I LOVE Sugar Daddy.
Its so 1975 and bluesy. It could have almost went on Heroes are hard to find.
I love the Stevie harmony at the end
