Yes. Angels On The Balcony is my significant other. And I'm not sharing.

Now playing - The Tide Is High

I want to get Eat To The Beat next, but I haven't found it in stores yet. And Plastic Letters too. I had to decide between Autoamerican, Plastic Letters, and Curse at the store. It was so hard...

Barnes and Noble is another crappy one. They don't discount DVDs or CDs one iota and sell them at full retail price. That's a crime.
We used to have a Waves Music in our mall (when Camelot Music was in FYE's place), and it was orgasmic. The prices were great, especially for being a mall store. Unfortunately, it had to go out of business (it wasn't paying the companies or something like that), and the prices were ever MORE orgasmic. Homahgah. 1 and 2-dollar CDs? Sign me up.

Now we only have FYE. Frown. There are Karma music stores around, but they carry mostly used CDs (at least the ones I've been in), and I haaate used CDs for no good reason. And Sam Goody's all downtown, and that's just too far.

I couldn't find Eat or PLetters anywhere. And then I went into my first Barnes & Noble. <3 They're both great albums. I like Letters a little more than Eat.

Here's my list of faybrit Blondie albums, in order
1. Autoamerican
2. The Curse
3. Plastic Letters
4. Blondie
5. No Exit
6. The Hunter
7. Parallel Lines (although I feel it should be higher)
8. Eat To The Beat (although I feel it should be higher)
9. Blondie Live (just because I'm not big on live albums anyway)

I think Eat To the Beat is my favorite, but I'm not sure. It's just perfect in every way. Victor, Living In the Real World, Union City Blue, Shayla, Atomic, etc. Just awesome. And the reissue has a live cover of Bowie's "Heroes" that kicks ass.

I can't even remember the last time I paid full price for a cd...I refuse to shop at places like FYE and Sam Goody - and even Suncoast...too damn expensive (and I'm cheap)

Heehee. You're a Blondie fan, get used to used CDs or you won't have **** in your collection. Half the stuff I have I had to get used because so much of it hard to find new and out of print.

Our lists couldn't be more different.

1. Eat To the Beat
2. The Hunter
3. No Exit
4. Autoamerican
5. Curse
6. Blondie
7. Plastic Letters
8. Parallel Lines
9. Live (I love live albums and Blondie are stunning live, so...and Forgive and Forget? Rawks on here.)
10. Live By Request (only because they left off songs)

Well I did get the Live DVD used, but that was like a WEEK before they re-released it, further proving that Blondie hates me.

And I got a NIRBTG single used, but I just wanted to hear the single mix.

Ugh. I paid $40 for a used one off of Amazon right before they rereleased it. I had it on tape but lost it, couldn't live without, bought it, and saw red when I caught a glimpse of it for $10 NEW at Circuit City. It even had a sticker on it boasting that it was back in print. And, can I just say, Maria rocks on that DVD?

The single mix rocks, it's the same as the video mix. I'm glad she forced them to change it, I didn't care for the old bridge myself.
