JTIS that it's Green Day Earth Day on Fuse and I've been attentively watching it since I got home from school. And the sexiest video ever (21 guns) is on right now. Win.

Late 60's, around the time of the Christine Perfect album I think and yes, they're stocking sorta thinks. (I dunno what they get called elsewhere, in the UK they're tights)

I thought it was well known that Christine has webbed toes.
From the interview she gave ('99 I believe) she said, as she's
grown older it sometimes causes her pain. And that's one of
the reasons she quit touring.

GORGEOUS. Thanks so much for posting it!

I thought her foot looked weird, too, but I hate feet, so I was reserving judgment in case I might just be biased about the whole thing.

wow Matt, thanks so much for the concern!
Yep, he's all fine now - he just spent one night in the hospital. He has a condition called somnambulism, which is just sleepwalking. Turns out, he was in the hallway by himself, his heart got really slow, and he started to sleep walk, but he ended up fainting.....

he's fine now!

Ha! You certainly can. It's a little sad that I can't remember the details of who all I saw that week, but I'm going to give it my best shot. I know the Michaels were involved.

So Michael #1 didn't even get out of the gate. He was either homophobic or completely apolitical (or some mix of the two) and neither of those works for me. He cancelled on a Dan Choi lecture. I cancelled on him.

Michael #2 is a grad student who I've seen a few times, but he and I just don't really click. He doesn't understand when I'm joking and follows almost everything I say with "is that sarcastic?" Not attractive. I gave him the "I think we work better as friends" talk, which is bull**** because we were never friends, he asked for my number on the subway one day, and we haven't talked since.

Randy? I'm not sure if I was booked to go out with Randy that week, but he's a grad student at Harvard who I've been seeing for the past few weeks. He knows that I'm leaving for San Francisco for the summer and then Ireland next year and that I'm not interested in a relationship. He alternates between ignoring me for that and inviting me to the Hamptons with him. When he isn't being a twelve year old girl, though, I like him...and you guys will like this: He took me on a date that consisted of us sitting by the Charles river and me telling him Stevie Nicks's lifehistory. Oh, and he once started a conversation with "Where were you born? Because I was born in the desert.." (me, thinking: this is a coincidence. bite your tongue, marissa. don't reveal how much of a freak you are now)...he finishes, "so I know how it feels there." "YOU ASSHOLE. I thought that's what you were doing! Why would you pick THAT song to prove to me you've listened to her?"

Jake? If I went out with Jake that week, it was a date to go and buy him new clothes...because that's just the way Jake is. He's out of his mind and arrogant, which is actually, unfortunately, the most attractive trait for me in a man, but Jake doesn't have the whole package to back it up. That was actually the last time I saw him, though. He ended up getting suspended from a certain well known institution in Boston for reasons not unfamiliar to Stevie Nicks fans.

There was one more rather unfortunate situation that I was involved in recently, but I think I've gone on too long already in a topic everyone will hate

Marissa, I thoroughly enjoyed your post on your dating week. JTIS that most of my life I have been attracted to arrogant men as well. Not so much anymore though.

I would love to hear about more of your dates.
