I agree that the sexes were treated differently. I often wonder though whether on average boys just are inherently hornier at that age than girls or if it is a sociological thing as the names you mentioned suggest.

I agree that those perceptions have had a way of setting the stage for unfair judgement of many.

But those words were not intended for you. I just have to say that, though I know that knowing that does not make things less hurtful, as I have also learned here.

I wish that the shame you speak of did not exist.
