I'm slow on the uptake here but if he does a Manchester date, I'll seriously consider going The Bridgewater hall would be perfect.

I will be going to see him, it's just a case of which venue is closest to Manchester.

How common is this? It's never happened to me before.

Seems to be happening a lot with LB's tour, USA dates included!

If he does anywhere in Scotland, we must go!

Indeed we must! I think if he does a Glasgow gig that the Carling Academy would be perfect or, even better, the Old Fruitmarket.

If there is a Glasgow date (I will be there, otherwise somewhere else in UK!) I would presume it would be the royal concert hall or clyde auditorium. Not sure if the o2 academy has a seating facility, and i don't know much about the fruitmarket. Here's hoping the on sale dates for whatever they are get announced within the next few days!

i wonder how long it will be before lindsey announces that after much deliberation it just isn't feesible to do a uk tour after all. it's bound to happen. the constant disappearing of dates and lack of anything but speculation are glaring clues to that. he's too arrogant to realise that uk fans are just as good as us fans.

But we had a lot of disappearing dates in America too. I don't know how the info is reported to Ticketmaster, to cause the confusion, but they'll come back. What you have to watch out for is the cancellations AFTER the tickets go on sell, if there aren't enough purchased.

This is a general US artists problem - as also demonstrated by Stevie recently.

I'm goin to rock the boat just a little here and claim that Irish fans are the best... :P You need only see the atmosphere that was there at the 1st night the Mac played in Dublin in '09, one of the best shows of the tour, and I'm not just saying that cos I was there, it really was amazing, some of the crowd clips of GYOW show it all. I like to think that maybe this is why he is playing Dublin this December....

That was an amazing gig. Of all the gigs I've been to it's second only to the three GOS tour shows. I'm so glad he's playing Dublin and Belfast and maybe you're right that part of the reason is the enthusiasm shown on this island. The promoters wouldn't have booked him if they didn't think they could make money either so maybe his albums sell relatively well here? Before this week I honestly thought if he did an Irish date there would only be the one (Belfast or Dublin) but I'm happy to be wrong!

But is he? They've disappeared!
