I've still not seen it and it's tearing me up! I love The Runaways and getting yet another album today made me want to see it even more! She's an angel, always polite and kind to her fans

I know, right? I had a once in a lifetime email today:
Ringo Starr has added you as a friend on FB.

Technology has changed everything. REALLY, think about it. A member, from the world's most influential band, and I, are fake FB friends. Okay, maybe I need some perspective....

Honestly, I'm MUCH more honored to have Billy Burnette, Rick Vito, and Bob Welch, as my FB friends. And for the record, I put those in alphabetical order...

Gee, I'm unusually whiny at the moment! Everyone else has their own problems, and yet here I am adding to everyone else's with mine! Well, feel free to ignore what I have to say.
All was going rather well today... or as well as it could go, considering how nervous I was - I was going to try to talk to a girl I've developed a love interest in from my maths tutorial. I found myself musing for a ridiculous amount of time last night over what I'd say, thinking of possible responses and how I'd respond in turn. Anyway, I decided that I'd sit with my mates through the tute, and try to chat to her at the end of it. Well, the end of the tute approached, and I began packing up in preparation (Tessa always rushes out quickly), becoming increasingly nervous as I was doing so. (Btw I'm very rarely a nervous person, so I was really thrown off by it! Talk about a snowball effect!) Then it came time to leave, and, as usual, Tessa was just about to dash off. I said bye to my mate Giles, and made to wander off with Tessa, but Giles said something I neither expected or wanted to hear:
"Wait up! Waaaaaiiiiit!"
Damn it! Completely torn between a rock and a hard place! I always hate it when my friends bustle off (even though I understand that there's always somewhere to be), so I waited like a decent friend should, leaving Tessa to promptly scurry off. As for Giles, it turned out that he had a (rather interesting) maths question to ask our tutor, but I otherwise have no idea why he wanted me to wait! He went so far as to ask me why I was following him to his next lecture! Let alone that he barely said bye to me...
So I made my way to the bus stop to go home, only to see a bus drive past me. It's a half hour between buses, so I decided to take a tram down to the train station instead. However, I managed to miss the train by mere seconds! So I went to Borders to spend more of my Christmas gift voucher. However, there was no Stevie or Lindsey, or any other artists I checked for that matter (oddly, I forgot to check Soft Cell, even though I've been humming "Where Did Our Love Go?" all day). I noticed Behind The Mask from my last visit, and even Time was there! But Say You Will was also there. Despite never really considering buying it (I'd heard a couple of tracks from it, and they didn't interest me), I was in a weird enough mood (not angry or frustrated... more like unusually energetic...) that I did just that.
The one decent thing that happened to come out of this was that I caught up with a friend that switched from Melbourne Uni back to RMIT, who I therefore don't see as much any more, on the train back home.
Btw, I'm not liking Say You Will much at all really. It's certainly a departure from anything they've done before, just like their other albums. However, unlike their other albums, this departure sent them strait into mainstream, modern day rock/pop. I hear too much of that already as it is, I'm afraid. I think this album will unfortunately remain largely unmoved from my collection, gathering dust. (My sincere apologies for all the SYW fans here at The Ledge! It's just that this really doesn't appeal at all to me.) For those interested, I'm up to "Running Through The Garden". So far, "Murrow Turning Over In His Grave" is the closest to enjoyment I've had yet. It'll be interesting to see what I think of "Silver Girl", considering all the bad reception it receives here. Maybe it'll be the only one from the album I can say I like?
Oh, wait, here it is... yeah... no, Stevie... just no.
Btw, I thought it might be pertinent to add that I'm loving Lindsey's album Gift Of Screws, even though I don't like "DYMM", "Underground" and "Treason" that much.

This season for my FHS tennis team hasn't been all the great for us as a whole but individually we are kinda awesome and tight knit with each other which is kinda great. The one thing that sucks is the our tennis team didn't really get a damn thing this year and we have yet to get lockers but it's all good. I don't really like how the girls teams and guys teams (for all of our sports) get treated completely different. ex: the girls team in lacrosse isn't allowed to be as aggressive as the guys because they are girls...
My doubles partner and I are quite deadly; we aim for heads, shoulders, feet, etc. because it works-- hows that for aggressive?

N-T-ways:
I have no school today but i have a game at 2:30pm...wish me luck

I wrote "Hey Cherie I love you and I love your music. The Runaways opened my eyes to a whole new, amazing world, thankyou ♥"

and she just commented saying "Thank you Georgie!!" Not an essay, but I didn't even expect anything back. I'm so happy, I freakin' love her!

I cannot believe it has been 15 years since the Murrah Bombing in downtown OKC.
