Ah ok. Sorry if I got on touchy territory, viv. Blame my Saturday night merriment.
Now to find a way to dramatically yet organically change the topic... *ahem* So, uh... speaking of stuff: A "storm of the century" is due to hit the South of England tonight. Yikes! It's been named after St. Jude, the "patron saint of lost causes and desperate situations". Which is lovely and comforting. |

Because we are not speaking these words and only reading them I think you might have misunderstood what I said. You are not a pig. I just wrote that as a tongue in cheek word because you jokingly asked if you saw something there or were you just being a pig. Most of us men and some women see phallic symbols wherever we can find them and seem to derive amusement from them. I was thrilled that you and Bee commented on my pic because I used to get a lot of compliments on them and nowadays it is rare to hear any word from anyone. I change the pics every 24 hours unless I'm busy and can't get here and just like on facebook I wish there could be a LIKE under my sig pics that people could click on. I love posting pics and I love all your contributions to The Ledge, Dex. You are a valuable member who seems to get along with all the members of this site, and seem to be respected by all the FM factions here and believe me that is hard to do. So this was not touchy territory. Almost nothing makes me mad. I have a wonderful sense of humor and very little offends me. But as I stated earlier, Michele sternly warned me to keep my pics G Rated and I understand her concern and respect her decision to run this board as she sees fit.

Aw, thanks for the warm squishy post, viv. I didn't really think you were upset though, but can't always be sure of people's tone on places like this, as you say. I feel like I have to be careful sometimes, and am still "new" here in some ways.
I do enjoy a lot of your sig photos, for the record. That one in particular just tickled me. How on earth do you get ideas for a new sig every 24 hours, though? Yeesh! I never come across even a single image that I'd be moved to put in a signature. But then, I'm probably just lazy. |

That is pretty awesome. I'm a little envious of her, tbh. My ass is severely lacking in flamethrowing capabilities. I never saw that as a shortcoming until now. Although, to be fair... I haven't actually tried... Secret powers waiting to be unlocked, perhaps? Watch this space. |

I just love Stevie in that cowboy hat. The credit goes to John K at NicksFix . That where I got it from. I dont want to put my mugshot in the sig because I dont want to get blamed for cracking Ledgies computer monitors,Ipads,Iphones, laptops and tablets around the world.LOL...........

I just heard a studio version on the radio of Rhiannon that I have never heard before in my life. Lindsey's guitar was more acsentuated. After Stevie sang taken by the sky, instead of a short musical break it went right into dreams unwind loves a state of mind which was sung 4 times instead of the usual two.

Vivfox, it could have been the single version, which is on the 2003 VBO. The guitar is like double-channeled or some mess like that.

Um, that is strange. As far as I know there are just two official versions of Rhiannon - album and single - and it wasn't some live version or a demo, I wonder what it could have been.

Interesting things that happened at a store where I work in E. Tennessee.
First, a crazed overly religious man keeps coming in and lecturing our younger female cashiers who happen to be Christians themselves (the sane kind). He has tried to apply to our store and has threatened the cashiers that if they don't call the number he provides to them, then they're going to hell. The managers told us that they were going to throw this guy out of our store if he pesters the cashiers again (or at least pesters them to the point of them crying). Second, before I got to work yesterday (Halloween), a bunch of female customers got into this huge argument over a big pile of sales candy. It wasn't even the good type of candy either. |

So WHY does dating SUCK? Really?
So you go back and forth, and it's never 50/50, but hopefully it's 60/40ish, but why do people HAVE to play these ****ing games???? I f*cking HATE dating! So things are great, until I'm the one who's all attentive, and hanging on every word, then get handed "space".........and then I pull back, and wait an hour to respond to a freaking text, and then get all this lovey dovey crap back, "is everything alright? I miss you". ARGH!!!!! So it all boils down to.....we both like each other, but if I act like I like you too much, you back the f*ck up, and act like you're not interested....so then I have to play this F*CKING GAME, that I don't like you, and ignore you, and THEN you chase after me. I'm not built for this sh*t. Sorry, I needed to rant, and I can't on fb.
