Thanks. It's definitely one of my prized possessions. If I weren't planning on being cremated, it would have to be buried with me. Seems like more of a shame, to cremate it!

Dave, is that a baritone? The neck looks longer than a standard Tele. (or maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me)
Anyway, WAY cool of Buck to do that for you! (I met him once...no air of celebrity about him, he could've been the guy behind the counter at the local 7-11 or auto parts store)

Steve, your eyes are playing tricks on you. It's a standard tele. And I think the older generation of country stars were like that. Very accessible to fans. Honestly, with a few exceptions, most country stars are accessible. Country fans(and I mean REAL country fans, not the likes of Jason Aldean or Miranda Lambert fans) really won't tolerate a star acting all pretentious.

I got that album in 1978 and really enjoyed it back then, though I haven't played it at all since 1983. I couldn't even name one song from it but if you played it for me it might all come flooding back like the Niagra Falls.

That saddens me Sometimes, I put it on and I just keep turning the record for hours listening through the album over and over again.

That Buck Owens story is the coolest thing I've read fan-wise in a very long time.
