You make very good points.

Three other guests besides Stevie. I wonder if that means she'll only perform and not be interviewed?

I'd say more often than not the musical guest does not get interviewed.

It usually just depends. Stevie has gotten a good share of both performing AND being interviewed. Letterman, Leno, Rosie and Ellen to name a few. However, with three other guests, it doesn't bode well for her being interviewed.

I remember watching this show live. Stevie was acting odd and being typically eccentric, I found it creepy that she was so silent initially -- just nods and gestures. Then she did something guests usually don't do -- she sat sideways on the chair, ignored the other guest and entirely blocked him out of the scene. It felt awkward and uncomfortably rude watching it now as it did then. I know that wasn't her intention. But it was a really daffy, odd moment.

I wonder if she was tired when it was taped.

Well, like Olive said, he's got to mention the album. I am sure he will hold up a copy.

And talked all about how this performance of Lady is "historic" and how this was her first song written on piano, and how she got the piano in the first place.

It was quite complementary.
