Will alittle off topic but its about TV . I see you NYC ledgies are getting screwed with the CBS vs Time Warner problem there.

The people who pay for Showtime are getting ripped off over this.

So much for CSI, PGA golf ,Price is Right and other CBS faves.

Thumbs up

I am really enjoying Under The Dome so far, and was enjoying that show with people putting on a talent show in different small towns each week, Showville, but they moved it or something, maybe it just ended? Best thing since the old 1970s Gong Show!

Now I am mad about a British series called Broadchurch we are finally getting to see here which has David Tennent (sp?) and that woman who was in Birds Of A Feather and then Emmerdale. Really great drama!

I've wanted to watch Seinfeld (even more so because I found out Chris is a huge fan ) and Golden Girls for the longest time. As for my fave shows, god that's a long list.

The ones that really stuck to this day are basically the following (in no particular order):

E.R.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
The Nanny
Arrested Development

plus many others I've watched and failed to pick up on.

For those of you that are fans of American Idol.

They announced the new judge lineup .

J.Lo got her job back plus Harry Connick JR will give the judge job a try and Kieth Urban will be back along with Randy J.

Jimmy will be still there to help along.

Maybe Stevie will come back on the show.

I'm glad they got rid of a$$wipe Nicki Minaj .Stevie probably was happy to hear the news of the changes.I do like Mariah Carey.

I still dont understand how Nicki got the judge job in the first place,

I like all of the artists now in the judge lineup.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/lifest...69d_story.html

I will tune in more.

I recently started watching Orange Is The New Black after a recommendation from a colleague. So far, so good. I just can't quite get used to Kate Mulgrew's new look :/

Netflix is a godsend to those of us that don't really care about a show, but might give it a shot if it's on Netflix. As a result of NF, I have binge watched:
Weeds
Breaking Bad
Battlestar Galactica
Sons Of Anarchy
Fringe (re-watched and all caught up)
Orange Is The New Black
House Of Cards
(some other lame-o horror'ish made for Netflix series. Kinda Twilight'y. God awful!)

That's all I can think of right now. I've a mind to start Mad Men next which I have heard a lot about. Now the deal is...HOLY HELL there is a LOT of well made TV shows out there lately! I mean w/ the exception of Weeds & BSG... these shows are meaty, engaging and all around amazing. Most if not all aren't my cup of tea, but I'm amazed at how much I liked them and truly binge watched them all. Also if I do get into a show, I HATE waiting for the next episode.
Prior shows that I thought were engaging and well made:
24 (what I thought would be annoying as hell was instead my racing heartbeat. DAMN)
X-Files (so amazing while it lasted. Someone said it never should have been cancelled-I think it just could have spun off, but as Mulder & Scully dropped off, it had to go-sad as I was about it)
Twin Peaks (break-thru in TV off beat...biased Lynch fan)
hmm, many others but so much is good and fun, so few enduring imo. Nip/Tuck for example-awesome, now, meh.
Oh, and for those who have passed on Breaking Bad-I SO WASN'T INTERESTED, but now that I've seen it...run, RUN to the TV to view!!! lol

I loved Ripping Yarns, but had to get the videos.

I finally caught some eps of Community; it is strange but often pretty funny. One was the missing pen incident and the other the inspector spacetime convention.
