And I usually feel the same way about basil. I like it, but I usually find it overwhelming to the other flavors in the dish.

And that's also why I don't like pickles on my sandwiches, as a general rule(I have learned to adapt, however). Put em on the side, and I'll eat em, though...

I've got a lot of problems to work through in my life, dontcha think?

I've eaten a small vegetable wrap in five days. I'm just not interested in eating anymore

I won't go, unless I have at least 4-5 days off, to stay. Even though I'm only a 4 hour drive away, two days of vacation, just doesn't cut it for me! I feel like I never even got to relax.

And finally, I'm off for a week, starting next Wednesday. Nashvegas bound!!!!!!

Eggplant Parmesan, homemade cream of mushroom soup, and a spinach salad.

I sort of intentionally gained 7 lbs during February, after a pretty frightening health scare. Got my clean bill of health today, so it's time to lose it(divorcing meat for awhile).

My grandparents took me to lunch today and I had a wild mushroom and squash lasagne with parmesan and pine nuts and a salad.

Lemon pepper fish tacos. Yeah, I'm experimenting. They're actually pretty good.

What was the scare, David?

Last night, I had Syrian food: mutabbal, marinated chicken & lamb kebab, & Syrian (?) hot tea. Fantastic food, great restaurant.

Today, I want ... GRILLED HOT DOGS with sauerkraut & relish from Five Guys.

Homemade pizza, with spinach, pineapple, canadian bacon, chicken bacon, and lots of cheese.
Oh yeah, jalapeno slices all over it. My lips are on fire!

I had two plain toasted bagels with cream cheese, cheddar and bacon. It took a looooong time today before I could eat anything after a pretty heavy weekend!

Day #2 of 7 days in Nashville...I've been researching Urban Spoon, wanting to try at least a few new places.
Today I was craving mexican, so I picked a new place, based on the number of positive reviews it had received. I had chille relleno, a burrito, and a chalupa. These are the same items I get at my regular place, but these were just better. Tasted fresher, and spicier. With fresh guacamole on top. And was priced the same as my old place. Goodbye, old place...
