I really hope this is true! Glad to see evidence that Stevie is now involved.
On With The Show is a good album title, or maybe the live DVD/CD from the tour. (Wishful thinking)
A more accurate title : The Juggling Act.

If Chris is coming up with songs that merit colourful titles like Red Sun and Carnival Begin (either would make great album titles) then she must be writing better than ever. This really can't come soon enough for me - I kind of wish they'd just get on with finishing the album instead of doing this tour.

we will never have a chance to find out. because from all we know, this album will never come out.

So skeptical. Just because every focus is full-steaming ahead with the tour doesn't mean the album won't come out/get finished next year. We originally thought we'd never get new material and then we got an EP, we never thought Christine would come back, now she is. Have a little faith.

just leaning from history. this album has had several aborted starts since 2012. it has 15+ recorded songs already.

next year, when FM tour finishes, SN will probably find something else to do instead of recording with the band, just as she did for the last 3 years. for example, she has to tour her album, no?

and band keeps waiting instead of putting out what they recorded.

so what do you think - when will this album come out?

End of next year, latest beginning of 2016.
Even if Miss Nicks wants to tour for 24 Karat, let's face it, it's at best a
b-side album that won't do as well as a new project like In Your Dreams.
The IYD tour was only what, 15 cities? So a couple months at best then a
few months rest and she'll have well over half a year where she won't have
any excuses about not coming in and recording tracks. She's been publicly
complaining for years about the Mac being a boys club and now Chris is back
and we all know sooner or later she's going to cave at the prospect of raking
in the dough of a full Rumours line-up album/tour.

Seemingly cynical tone,
Understand the frustration.
Stevie is working with the band
on the album. Good news!
But it is not out of character for their motivations
and intentions to clash, simmer and burn.
The have always been a dysfunctional group;
Strong personalities, different agendas.
This is their typical behavior/their process.
It's hard being their fans; we want more from them
than they are capable of giving.
I'm still learning to embrace their flaws.
Being bitter for what isn't is so easy.
Being grateful for what is is much better.
We're fortunate they are alive.
Lucky they are doing something.

Their priorities are so out of whack. When Christine rejoined, they should have focused on making a new album, then go on tour. If that happened, it wouldn't have interfered/clashed so much with Stevie's solo plans.

But instead, the priority was profit over product won! Were they complicit in this choice, or were their managers and the corporation that finances their tours putting pressure on them?

The show, as expected, is just mostly rehash of the all the songs circa 1975-1979. I'm attending a show on this jukebox tour, and I'm sure I'll love it. But tours are fleeting. I'd rather have a new album.

Is this a song? Could be a hit!

Let's face it - every "challenge" presented by Stevie has been addressed. The one she likely felt would never happen - Christine's return - was met. We've all seen people in our workplaces who "can't possibly do this or that because of X/Y/Z." This latest delay, the 24k project, reads like another stalling tactic. I will hope for the best - that I'm wrong - and we get another album sooner than never.

I just hope the album is good. What they don't realize is Fleetwood Mac albums are always better when Stevie participates, as much as she hates being bored in the studio. Her contributions to Rumours (Dreams, Gold Dust Woman, I Don't Want to Know, Silver Springs, The Chain) and Tusk were essential. When they make an album and there's no central concept and the songs are not cohesive, that's when they have a mess. They need to all be on the same page for something special to result.

I have faith a new album will come out. Christine wouldn't have enthused about it in the Rolling Stone and Billboard articles if it weren't a reality--eventually but it's the eventually part I hate. This group plods and plods and milks its fans for all kinds of tour money. I'm seeing them in October. But I won't shell out for another tour beyond this if there isn't a new album to support it.
