Meh. I hate dieting. Is anyone else dieting at the moment who's up for giving me motivation? LOL

Becca - this time last year I was 75 lbs overweight. I've lost 28 lbs so far, so 47 lbs to go!

All's I'd say is - slow but sure! 28 lbs is not much in a whole year - but it's stayed off.

Don't try and lose it all at once, just a pound or two a month is enough and it keeps your weight more stable. And it's not as daunting an amount to achieve.

But I have to ask - why you? You look just perfect from your pics!

It's not that I need to lose a lot of weight, but I'm about 5'8 and every single girl I'm friends with is 5'5 and a size 6/8 and being a 10/12 and 5'8 makes me feel like gigantor! So I'd just like to smooth out a few bits and tone up so I feel better about my self really.

I hate it too LOL I feel like the only way for me to loose weight is to barely eat anything...

Off to bed early tonight...I haven an interview tomorrow at a salon for a Receptionist job(to work your way up to do salon work)...which I dont mind...I'll take anything!! Plus, it'll get my foot in the door and I already have 6 years receptionist experience....

Went shopping with my mother and sister on Friday and bought myself a Stevie-esque outfit. Long, deep red skirt with a flowy, lacy white top. I'll see if I can get some pictures up later

Let's not forget the 3 inch heeled boots too. Anything higher than that and I'd fall >.>

Matt, that's HOW they go. Seriously. I know I've got way more miles on me, so I'll try to be gentle....but it's so hard to find "the right one". But.you.will.find.the.one.

It's so funny. Sometimes, physical attraction overcomes you, and(for older people, anyway), you hook up, and it's great. But then the next morning, not so much. It's just so hard finding that perfect mix, of attraction, AND compatibility. But you do want that mix. I have friends who regularly just "hook up", and I just don't find that fulfilling. I'll stop there...off to FB!

Yeah, and before the date you think: "Oh, this person is the right one for me..."you start imagining being together... bleh. There was just nothing really to talk about I guess.

Exactly. I'm glad that you get it! If there's nothing to talk about, well...that's everything.

But that perfect balance is hard to find. But you will. Just be good, and honest with them. And yourself.

Matt - Homer is right - and I'll put up with what I'm sure is an "I an so smart/right" dance to say that (Homer - you surely have one?!)

If there's nothing to talk about then things won't go well, even if at the time you do hook up (age approriately of course!) This is how dates go but when you do find someone and end up talking so much that the lights come on the bar/restaurant (again, nothing uderage please, haha) then it's so worth the wait.
