I could see them touring with Neale, Brett, Wally, and maybe George Hawkins on bass.

So they ALL are getting to do what they want to do. Chris, Lindsey, John and Mick want to do and album so they are. Stevie doesn't want to, so she didn't participate. Chris and Lindsey may want to tour so they will...Mick and John probably won't want to, so they probably won't. Mick has his books and blues band too. All five will probably get together again next year. This is how it should be. No one seems unhappy about these decisions.

EXCEPT - as Mick has said, there's a clock ticking....winding down. They aren't 50, they're in their 70's. It would be wonderful if they had 10 years left, but I'll bet they don't have 5 left.

The whole place was wasted. It was a nightclub with hard liquor.
Everyone had an amazing time. Nothing bad.. he was just exhausted and drunk.

As long as they are happy with the arrangements, I am happy for them. I want music and performances in whatever formation it takes. There will always be "what if?" but I think these are 5 strong people who deserve to make music however they want to at this stage of their lives.

I agree ... But

I can only imagine the wrath I'd receive if i said that

and I am comfortable if Buckingham / McVie is the last of any form of this band I ever see in concert

Steve is with the Heartbreakers all year. I hope they have a drummer with a full kit and not Wally's half electric number.

plus he's been clean for decades since, so all's good. i don't think he touches alcohol now.

i'm guessing this was OOTC tour?

Idk something about the idea of getting that wasted with an audience around freaks me out. Probably just me though I'm not very experienced with hard alcohol.

Assuming he's not touring with Tom Petty.

Don't go to a Guided by Voices show!
